Buying Needles-info for the newbie
Prior to my TRT commitment I knew absolutely nothing regarding the purchase of needles and syringes. My TRT meds were called in to an out of state pharmacy then shipped to my home, syringes/needles included. I was prescribed to inject 600IU of HCG twice a week so I only received a 2 month supply of 1cc insulin syringes. With the info Obtained from you guys I decided to inject 250 IU EOD, thus leaving me with a shortage of syringes.
After doing some research, I took the last few syringes in my 10 count package along with the plastic bag that had the prescription info printed on it. I went to my local Wal Mart pharmacy and the pharm assistant was a little hesitant and I could tell she had no clue what to say. She went to the pharmacist and he said he has no problem selling them to me but I would have to buy the whole box of 100. I was good with that and paid $13 and some change for 100 30ga insulin syringes.
Reason I'm posting this, I know Im not the only one that has limited knowledge regarding where to buy needles and syringes. So hopefully someone will read this and take advantage of there hometown pharmacys and not have to pay high shipping prices off the web. I assume you don't even have to have a script for the needles in some states.
So if you don't know, now maybe ya do!

It really depends on which state you live in. California has me scratching my head. You can buy a syringe/needle combo, but not the needles by themselves.
Plus, our sponsor sells syringes if you are so inclined.
Good thread!

I dont know the price of syringe and needles here in quebec but i just didnt bother asking... I buyed mine from "medical and lab supply" for about 13$ for a pack of 100. also ar-r sell some for a really good price. and he shipping is not too bad if you order alot. syringe and needle are legal and can be obtained by many way.
I would personally wont go in a phamacy and ask to buy 300 syringe and needle... Im not in trt, so its more suspicious but still XD

I was amazed at how dumb my CVS was when it came to needles. I thnk they told me I needed like 22g for intramuscular injection when I told them I was already using 25 and just needed more. I asked about trying smaller needles and they said someting about not being allowed to. Wtf? I feel sorry for the IV drug users who actually want to use clean needles but cannot because of ignorance in the pharm/medical community.
If you have insurance and/or Express Scripts mail order pharmacy options then that is good and you don't have to leave the house. Prices blew away retail shop pricing.

I'm trying to figure out the whole INsurance fight as we speak. I sent my receipt to Anthem for my TRT meds which totaled $238 for my 2 month supply. Anthem sent me a check for $28 lol, I pay ALOT of money for health insurance and can't even use it. It gave a bunch of codes and basically says need more info on compound med or some crazy shit. I have to call them back Monday.

I know I had my script in hand but decided to double check with my insurance, they told me that it needed to be "pre authorized", I said I have a written script in my hand from my doctor, that is an authorization... they still needed my doctor to call them and verbally tell them he put me on TRT. We have to remember, the government and society believe that steroids are worse than crack, it's no wonder we have to jump through hoops.

I'm going to take my paper work Anthem sent me and show my doc when I go for my 6wk BW. I hope he can make a phone call and insurance will cover it, maybe she just has to tell them she diagnosed me secondary hypogonadism? I bet that's they key, the diagnoses.

I'm surprised anyone has problems. People sharing dirty needles is something all governments should be trying to avoid.
