3.5 weeks on TRT update
This is the initial thread I posted. You'll have to go down a few reponses to see where I was able to post my thoughts.
So it wont let me post links yet. Dang it. Look below for beginning stats, ect.
So, after my 8th injection (8th today) this is how I feel. Nothing like I did in the first couple of days.
I will say stress has declined substantially.
Appetite, surprisingly from what i've read has decreased. I am rarely hunger now.
I have mixed emotions. Some hours of the day I am on top of the world. Other days like last night, I was sensitive/emotional. Got snappy with the wife last night as well.
I seem to sweat more than usual.
Ive noticed my nipples are more sensitive. Not itchy or enlarged, just more sensitive.
Libido is slightly better, I was only intersted say every two weeks, now every 2-3 days. Dang wife wont give it up yet though. :-( lol
In general I DO feel better.
So, I have a couple of questions.
I dont remember my dr. asking me to return for follow up BW, 6 weeks is the norm isnt it?
Is it possible that my Estrodial has risen so my nipples and emotions are just a bit funky?
When did you all really start to experience really significant differences?
here is my protical at the moment:

.4ml Pregenolone creme daily

Good to hear you are feeling better, especially since i just started as well , while waiting for the experts to chime in i will say that your symtpoms seem like they stem from high estrogen, some guys need ai`s to control estrogen, and some don`t. I believe kel said you can test bloods after 4 weeks. Blood work is the only way to know for sure though. Talk to your doc, but don't wait more then 6 weeks to get the blood work if you are presenting high estrogen symptoms. Make sure you specify you want an estrogen sensitive assay.

Thanks Jomamma. I am really curious if I should really be feeling the effects/have increased E this early stage of the game. I can't wait to see the Dr. again, I am going to bust his balls (pick his brain, getting old sucks and I will do anything I can to feel like I was in my 20's...if possible. lol)

It certainly sounds like high E2. I would def do at least minimal BW for T and E2.
Also, try and hang in there. It's kind of a bitch early on (I'm still fine tuning after 9 months) but well worth it. By two months in I felt fantastic and my recovery was like in my early 20s.
Good luck!

I would be concerned about E2, as others have mentioned, but also your lack of hCG . The hCG not being present means your balls are going to shut down. If I could do it all over again -- I have been on HRT for 8 months now -- I would insist on hCG right from the start.
It was a couple months in before I convinced my doc to give me a script for hCG -- which I did by printing out gdevine's sticky -- and I regret the ground I lost in those 2 months. My balls are probably 80% of the size of what they were before. And for those 8 weeks, my sack was pulling uncomfortably close all the time, and I had a dull ache in one of my nuts.
Pay very close attention to your testicles! And, IMO, get on hCG as soon as you can.

How old are you?
You are taking thyroid meds...why? Your FT4 and FT3 look fine.
Are you seeing a Doc who understands HRT in men? Does he know that you will need HCG and possibly an AI if E2 elevates?
Sometimes when testosterone serum levels reach peak stable levels we see some itchy nips and a little emotions as well; it does not mean you necessarily have elevated E2 levels.
Make sure that you get the "sensitive" Estradiol assay when you get your next blood work done.

I'm 41. Doc has me on a small dose of Armour Thyroid, not 100% sure why. I am going to ask for HCG at my next appointment, we'll see what happens. I have noticed my sack is pulling up and maybe the boys are shrinking a lil too.

Well today is officially 1 month on Test. I started zinc, calcium Clucinate and DIM with advice from my doc since my emotional side is coming out probably from Estrogen. Anyhow, I can really seem to feel the effects now, morning wood like crazy and if its female I gotta look it over. Lol. Feels good to feel like a man again. I plan on updating this thread as I follow this journey. :-)

So, basically I am just at four weeks on Test C and the other things listed. Libido seems to have dropped a bit (was ready to go twice a day or more), might be from the PIM, Zinc ect that I just added. Still feeling pretty good. One thing I noticed is I worked in the garage all day Saturday and usually can barely walk afterwards when I do that. I was still going strong Saturday night and woke up without pain or being sore. So something is working! I've also noticed that I dont stress out as much (very very stressful job) but when I do I get plain ole angry about it. Not rage or anything but pissed.
so, just a lil update. Will post later one. :-)
