    Hgh guidance

Hi, I'm a recently new member to the forums and I am doing research on behalf of my 56 year old mother who is 5'3" an roughly 160. Has arthritis and very low energy levels. I am wondering if hgh is beneficial for someone like her!

You could take her to a doctor for sure.

But really... it's not common to get HGH therapy! Doctors are afraid of it because the FDA hates it. Very few members on this forum are taking HGH.

What you could definitely do with her though is work on her nutrition. Whenever someone says arthritis the first thing you should say is "get off gluten and artificial sweeteners!"

That alone has the potential to help a LOT, and it costs nothing. HGH, if she could get it, would cost thousands and be an ongoing expense!

Normally I wouldn't cite Mercola (because I've found it's hit or miss over there with accuracy), but the article I've linked to here is written by HJ Roberts who has been an authority on aspartame for many years:

(oops, I can't post links as I am new - anyone who wants the info on the page, please PM me)

Also, an outspoken critic of aspartame who is a physician, Richard Sabates, wrote about his arthritic pain when consuming aspartame, which abated when he stopped, and then started again when he began drinking the diet sodas again.

Let's try this odd link: www (then) dorway (then) com (then) / (then) sabates.txt (let's see if the spam filter still catches me, if it does, then PM me if you need the link)

As for Splenda/sucralose, there is not a lot of good evidence (very few studies done on humans, and for only short durations), but one pharmacokinetic study on humans showed that sucralose (which not metabolised, but passed through the body unchanged) was only about 97% excreted by the body in five days. Who knows what that means? It could be that 3% of splenda is never excreted and stays in your body forever, or maybe it's excreted, but just more slowly. No one knows, but I think some people are wary that your body might be retaining 3% of your splenda consumption forever with effects that won't be discovered for years. There are safer things, like stevia for when you need some sweetener.

Hope that is helpful to you.

Nice... I can't be so sure right now but I'm pretty sure my protein powder has sucralose in it.... Haha wtf. As for the diet pop and artificial sweeteners, I try not to drink soda at all... And am very sketchy as it is, as far as sweeteners go. Honeys always a good sub. Lots of good benefits with honey. As for my mother she doesn't drink soda at all! No artificial sweeteners but her diet can definitely be overhauled...

My TRT Doc is very reluctant to offer HGH to his TRT patients due to the FDA & prescribing laws. He does however provide it to an elderly woman patient that suffers from severe osteoporosis (bone loss). He said it has done wonders for her in many ways...

When I hear you say "pop" I presume you are in the US. :-) You can get some protein powders with stevia there. Or sometimes I get plain, unsweetened protein powder and then add raw cacao (which is delish and is a great antioxidant, if you like chocolate flavour) and a few drops of liquid stevia for sweetness.
