Doc prescribed 75 mg test cyp twice a week, question on refilling script

So my Pharmacist gave me a enough needles for 4 weeks but gave me enough test cyp for 13 weeks. Ive got 10 ml test cyp and use .75 ml each week. I also have 5 refills on the script and it runs out in August I think. Question is should I get another refill on test even though I don't need it or just get more needles. I could easily end up with 3 extra bottles by the time by script runs out. Cruising later maybe?

Visit the site sponsor's store and pick up more syringes with different pins for loading purposes only. Your pharmacies not going to keep refilling when you want them to. They will refill your script based on the math of the prescription itself. Meaning when it's close to running out they will allow it to be refilled.

It's why it's always good to be over-written to some extent. Which allows you somewhat of a cushion in case there's a problem in the future. My doc writes me for 200mg per week. I use 120mg per week. I requested this as I do not want to be micromanaged by a pharmacy.

I get that but my pharmacist isn't all there. Why did he give me so much? And it shows 5 more refills. Is this normal, do pharmacist routinely give people 3.5 month supplies when only prescribed 1 month by doctor?

It's not like the pharmacist can take half of a 10ml bottle and or 3/4 and slap a label on it with your name then throw the rest away. They problem only carry 10ml vials. Just be thankful you have more than enough. It's better than having to worry about running short.

That was my experience in Kansas. I had a 90 day script with 4 refills. I didn't use the prescribed dose so I always had some extra just in case plus I could get my script refilled on day 83 so there was free mg's.
Difference experience in Sc. A 30 day script cannot be refilled, hell even called in for refill any earlier than the script is written for(30, 60 or 90 days). They also micro manage the mg's. Example 10ml of 200mg cyp. script is 150mg wkly so there is 6.5 weeks worth but doc writes the script so I can refill at 6 weeks so I used 900mg's. That 100mg's extra gets applied to my refill. No freebies. Pharmacist says that is a Sc. law. I believe it as they are extremely tight on controlled substances administration(morphine for pain) requires I call med control for authorization where in others states I've worked my protocols allow administration based on complaint(long bone Fx etc) without contacting the doc.

No but they can give you 1ml vials instead of the 10ml if the math don't add up. Be glad you getting the extra.

    5 seems like the answer.
