So many Docs are such a scam

Waited two months for an appointment with a new endo for trt. When scheduling I asked if they treated TRT and by injection. Get there today and they only do the Gel. $50 co pay down the drain.....

    So frustrating

I am not having much luck with my gyno for female hormones. There was a link on his website re testosterone for females basically that it is harmful for gals. Very frustrating.

I am thinking they could have more biz if embraced new services

Rwy, you don't always have to inject. Transdermals work great for many patients. Maybe give it a go and see what happens with your levels. Either way it's a good start.

Finding the right doctor is the hardest part of HRT in my opinion...

Totally agree. A gel has been good for me. But, I realize it's not the preferred tratment for many.

I agree. There is this certain stigma that gels have on forums... that's my general opinion. Nonetheless, I believe transdermals work great for many many men.

I think, in part, transdermals get a bad reputation online because the people who are more likely to post online are the more challenging patients. That is, they are not cookie cutter. So the standard approach is to start on a transdermal, it doesnt work, so th patient looks around online to inform his or herself. Meanwhile, the guy who feels great now that he's on Androgel or testim or whatever gel never bothers to post online. Why would he?

Why not try the gel's 1st? maybe the doc thinks you just want to run a high dose.
