hCG - Finally got a script!
Have a new GP that prescribed me hCG . The script says quantity 10 milliliters, SIG 1/4 cubic centimeters injected Sq 1x day. I said that seems high to do every day, and the new doctor is okay with me throttling back the dosage.
I do testosterone injections once a week, so I am thinking about HCG two days before and one day before. How does my dosage translate to IUs?
Also, should I run it every day to get started? It is Monday and my next test inject is Friday.

Zen read GD's thread on mixing. It's all there! You can also consider peptide warehouses as an alternative that will save you $$$. Crisler likes low dose daily injections but I've got issues with it. Do enough now, don't need/want any more.
You realize you can go to lowT.com and receive everything for basically that price.

Thanks kel. I'm considering lowT.com, but I get test cyp for $10 every third month or so, labs 100% covered, and $25 doctor copay currently. Adding $100/mo on top of that for hCG ($200 for two months basically) still brings me out ahead of lowT.com, but it is still on my radar.
Would you mind elaborating on your issues with Crisler's protocol and what exactly you mean? I'm definitely interested in hearing as much experienced input as I can.
Also, if you (or anyone else) know of any good peptide warehouses, I'd love a recommendation via PM.
Thanks again for the help.

Not to add too much to this discussion at once, but my pharmacist told me to draw out 10 mls of the water and put it into the powdered hCG . Next time I'm going to ask for the 5,000 units (looks like they gave me the 10,000).
However, in GD's hCG thread, he has only 4 mls of water:
Reconstituting 10,000IU’s of hCG
Use a larger bore (i.e., 18g) needle, and transfer your bacteriostatic water into the vial with the freeze dried hCG powder. You want to inject until you have added a total of 4ml's of solution. Keep the powder and vial upright because you can blow the hCG out of it when you pull the needle out of the vial. Otherwise be sure to draw air out after you push the water in to release pressure each time. Also, make sure to hold the plunger of the syringe when you first penetrate the vial as there is a vacuum inside the vial and it will want to pull the plunger down at an accelerated rate and you don’t want that to happen.
When completed, gently swirl the vial to mix. Keep in the refrigerator once reconstituted. It will keep its potency for 60 to 90 days.
When using an insulin syringe, each unit (line) on the scale of the syringe equals 25IU's of hCG. 250IU’s of hCG is then 10 units on the side of the insulin syringe.
Thanks!

Re amount to inject. There's just no need to inject that much. Use the 4mls next time and mix per GD's thread. What I mean re Crisler is only I don't want to inject anything daily unless absolutely necessary. I don't need to micromanage myself quite that much! I get by 3 times per week as it works fine. To each his own though.

Ah, makes sense!
If I use the 10 ml of water as per my pharmacist (and the actual instructions that come with the hCG ), will this not dilute my hCG from what the 4 ml would? In other words, the 250 IUs from 10,000 IU/10mL of water would be less concentrated than 10,000 IU/4mL and so thus a lower dosage (or is this wrong?), so perhaps injecting every day is the compensation for this (and why my doctor prescribed as such)?
Sorry for all the questions... just wanting to make sure I get this rightLast edited by ZenFitness; 05-06-2013 at 04:26 PM.

Okay, final update here... in case anyone else goes through this and finds this thread - this is after talking to my pharmacist.
If I use 4 mL of the water to reconstitute the hCG , then the dosage IS more concentrated and applies to the MWF, etc., injection protocol. Since I did the 10 mL water reconstitution, then an every day injection is equivalent to having a 4 mL reconstitution and doing it MWF, etc.
So I've got 39 more days of stabbing myself with an insulin syringe instead of roughly 17 Next time I'll go the 17 route

Not to hijack but do you mind pointing out what your issue is with low dose daily? I do 200iu/ed but I'm by no means a HCG guru. If its more effective to do it eod or 2x/wk I could change it.
