Not sure where to start
Obviously blood tests are needed to see where my levels are. I've read Dr. Eugen Shippen Testosterone Syndrome and a lot of information on this forum and it seems more complex than I originally thought with testosterone total vs free, estrogen as well as a host of others involved. May be why the traditional MD's are more reluctant to consider. I plan on asking my MD for these tests at my next annual physical. Is there something concise either in print or otherwise that I could take with me to ensure all the right things are tested for and help explain options?
Maybe the Tulane Medical article?

How many times during any given day have you said to yourself, “Why am I so tired, and lack energy?”, or "I work out just as hard as before, why can’t I get the results I use too, or maintain, "I wish I had the sex drive & erections I had when I was younger." Most men simply attribute these symptoms to aging; however it is more likely the direct result of low testosterone levels , or low T.
Low testosterone is a slow and progressive process leaving most men feeling more advanced in age than they really are. Many experience feeling older than they are, lack of energy and motivation, fading concentration, weight gain, low sex drive, weak erections, and moodiness. Here at Lowtestosterone.com, we resolve these issues daily by correcting hormone levels.
