    Little confused on starting HRT...

Been doing tons of reading on this forum regarding HRT...seems there is lots of trouble shooting/changing scripts ect. Is this mainly from guys that aren't on programs such as Lowtestosterone.com? Maybe just running HRT on their own? Maybe they're just sorting out the beginning of their protocol? Just curious cause I'm starting with Lowtestosterone.com & I'm under the impression that there isn't much guess work to get u sorted hence their knowledgable staff! I'm just a little nervous as this is a big decision IMO ! I'm 37 btw with total test in low 300's. just don't want to get into something that's over my head & have regrets!

    your in good hands

yes, some ppl play around before they dial into their own tailored trt/hrt but not to be of any concern..

this sites lowT site will dial you in...follow their instructions and you'll be good to go

Thanks for the words! I figured so much about lowt.com...seems to be nothing but good said about the them. Like I mentioned...I'm just having a hard time accepting the fact that I gotta depend on something like this for the rest of my life. I'll get over it...it's just all so new to me. Come to think of it, this is prolly just my low test talking, lol! I think I just fear if there comes a point to where I would have to stop treatment for whatever reason, that would suck! Sounds like if that time came though, that there are protocols to help come off rather than going through hellacious cold turkey symptoms!

What do you mean trouble shooting/changing scripts?

But anyways, there is not much "guess work" in trt, but there is a considerable amount of "clinical judgment". By that I mean that one size doesn't fit all. The common strategy for injection TRT is to start at 100mg per week. Some men need more, some less, some no change. Then of course you might find out you metabolize slower or faster than "average" so now you might want to trial 2 shots per week. Or if you are a slow metabolizer you might even need 1 shot every 10 days.

Then there is personal considerations that are unique to each person... etc etc etc.

I have never dealt with lowT.com but I would feel better going into them than your average doctor, who probably knows next to nothing about male HRT.

i started at 37 and now 44 and wish i would have known sooner...low T sucks and optimum T has made me a different person in many ways...you wont be sorry and it really is not a huge commitment and if you are truly low t its not a real choice imo

    I agree!

As far as trouble shooting...I just meant it seems I've run into a few posts where somebody will all of a sudden have no labido, then having to adjust or whatever! I'm sure not too big a deal if in good hands!

Sounds about right. My odd deal is...I felt like chit 18 months ago (40 lbs over weight), began lifting & got a grip on diet...lost 40 in 8 months. Now I lift hard...diet is very good but I felt something is obviously off as far as results...just wasn't really working! Plus I never really felt much better than I did 40lbs heavier & a crap ass diet! I'm moody as hell & pretty irritable...weird thing is that I have no problem in the bedroom! Do I want it as much as I did when I was 18, no...but I wouldn't expect to! Don't wake up with morning wood all the time but anyhow...seems I have a pretty low TT of 315, most the symptoms, but still a pretty good labido! Do symptoms just simply vary by individual, or am I jumpin the gun since my stuff still works!?

YES they vary...i had no libido issues either and quite frankly had a similar starting point towards trt....got around 280/290 lbs lost 40 and stayed at 250 even with low cal diet, good workout regimin...not a budge..no muscle /strength gain-no fat/weight loss...found trt....BOOM! weighed 220 in 6 months stronger and leaner/veins visible/energy/better outlook/confidence..........

your gonna love it amigo....check out my history/old posts its all there...almost carbon copy of your complaints

Ha ha, no doubt! Don't know my free T yet. My first lab work was through my PC at Kaiser 3 weeks ago when I just wanted to see what was up with me...the lab only measured total! That was done after fasting for 12 hours...got up at 6am & tested at 8am...total was 315.

Did the same at lab corp (through lowt.com) last Thursday...woke at 6 & took blood at 8 with 12 hour fast...I'll see those results prolly tomorrow when I speak with their physician.
