    blood work ?

I'm 39yo and 5 weeks into trt. I went from a 104 testosterone serum to a 651 as of last weeks BW. At first it seemed I was up and down with my mood and energy. However the last couple weeks I've leveled off it seems. I definitely feel better than where I was, but still feel so, so. My libido is a little better, but I still feel it's lacking, not optimum. So my doc says I can take my dose from 100mg to 125mg 1x week. My HCG is 2X a week at 25 on 4 and 5 day. My estradiol is a 31.1 using roche ECLIA methodology( if thats relevant). I know these numbers look pretty good from reading around in the forums. I still feel I could feel better though. Doc is worried the increase could cause spike in estradiol leading to RX of anastrozole. He really doesn't like it because it's another drug.(alt doc) Anyways I was thinking of splitting the dose to 2x a week and HCG on the same days. Any suggestions on the pros and cons of my new dosage and splitting the dose would be greatly appreciated. BW was taken day before next pin Thanks.
    total test, serum = 651
    free test(direct) = 13.4 ( 8.7-25.1)
    estradiol (ECLIA methodology)= 31.1 (7.6-42.6)

Looks like levels are coming along. Congrats. Right at 5 weeks (your exactly right) is when things start coming together. I would recommend to you to communicate to your doctor still that you are having mild symptoms of andropause . A good doctor will treat the patient not the labs. It is perfectly fine to push a patient that is still expressing symptoms of andropause to 900,1000,1100,1200,1300. "Optimal Range" is whats right for the patient. As long as levels arnt too high where polycythemia and aromatase gets out of control. No harm done. PS. Anastrozole is a wonderful drug and should be used in TRT to keep levels between 20pg/ml-30pg/ml. Free test above 20 is ideal. Generally men are still symptomatic at 15 and below. The once a week T injection protocol is great using HCG on day 4 and 5. This gives guys a nice endogenous push of serum at the end of the week. Sounds like he knows what hes doing. Just encourage him to not be scared of anastrozole and keep pushing you until symptom free.
