I have to be honest.. Need some advice pls!

So after reading up on the forums about keeping a steady level of test in my system, I thought that I would switch to 2 shots (Sunday/Wednesday).. But in an effort to uncomplicate things I injected .50cc Sunday and planned to do another .50cc tomorrow.. Turns out my dr only prescribed me to do .75cc every Sunday..

Is it a big deal to break from what the dr recommended or not? Should I inject the .25cc tomorrow? Should I just stick to my plan OR should I not inject and leave it at .50cc for now as my testicles have been hurting and my doc won't prescribe HCG ..

I would've just Injected the other .50cc but I'm a little freaked out over the whole hematocrit levels that the other guy posted about on 200mg a week.. Especially since I'm still waiting for bw from last Wednesday.

I'm having really intense workouts and pumps so I'm thinking the .50cc was enough BUT it's a long way til Sunday.. Gah help!!

    Hi
    1. No respectable person will tell you to go against your doc's rx.
    2. If your nuts are hurting now, increasing the dose isn't going to bode well for the boys.
    3. Regarding hCG , it's an issue with a lot of us. You'll need to make an informed decision on what's best for you.

    Hey Joseph,

Sounds like you're a fairly new TRT patient. I would stick to .75cc the doctor ordered. Splitting the dose into 2 injections per week is fine. That wouldn't be really varying from doctors orders, just spreading the prescribed dose out. Better that way anyway. The only time you should consider changing protocol is after your follow up blood work and review with your doctor.

As for hCG , it might be a good idea to read, or even print the hCG sticky and discuss it with your doc. Don't shy away from asking questions, it's your health and personally, I would want to do/ask whatever I need to in order to get the best treatment possible. That may or may not include looking for another doc. But do discuss it with him/her.

Best of luck and keep us posted.

Adding more testosterone to your Dr's protocol is not going to help things (if your doctor know's what he is doing). The right balance of things is 10 times more important than just an increase in your testosterone dose. There is a method to HCG use and is not for everyone. I would suggest calling your doctor and really talking to him about concerns you have. Also, I would be careful diagnosing yourself by looking at posts others have made. Like I said, this is about balance and getting things right based on your lab work and how you feel. I do not suggest trying to diagnose your own treatment especially if you have a doctor to talk to. I do not know your situation, but there may be a reason your doctor did not prescribe you HCG (Although I will admit that I see doctors doing this A LOT when the patient clearly does need that medicine).

The key is to find the right doctor.

Good luck man. Keep us posted as to what your doctor says.

I printed out, faxed, and spoke to my Dr about the HCG stickie and he wasn't hearing any of it.. In fact as soon as I brought it up he was completely dismissive saying: "I don't do that".. Basically he said he wants me to get to a good level first and that's all he's concerned about.. My opinion and what I've gathered from others here is even a good looking number doesn't mean you're feeling good. Sure bw is extremely important but just like the numbers on a scale won't tell you how you're losing weight, a high or low test number won't tell you how good or bad you're feeling..

I will call and talk to him tomorrow but I fear that all he's going to do is reduce my test (based on my testicles aching).. I had already planned to sign up for lowest.com but my wife is asking that I just find another urologist locally..

I'm just at a loss.. If I do sign up and the dr in Houston doesn't give me HCG or an AI, I'm only paying more money for a treatment I already have. I will inject the .25cc today that I'm lacking and speak to my dr.. I don't believe anything positive will come from it but I'll try and stay positive. Thanks all!

I used 200mg/week for long time and my hemo and bloods were fine recently, even just after cycle. not everyone is the same, you need blood work.
I rec following your doc advice atleast till you get bloods in a couple months. i would just pin the .75cc 1X a week for hrt, i dont seem much diff with 1 or 2X a week for hrt, but would not push less more then 1x a week. I pin 2X+ a week if its a cycle. just me.

your testies will/should even out. i dont care about shrinkage so i dont really use HCG. you have to chose.

I do rec you add dha and pregnenolone to your hrt long term though.. test only covers so much.

Definitely gonna add dha and preg to my routine, just waiting to get paid this Friday..

I wish my Dr would call me already with my results so I can stop the guessing game.. for now I guess I'll just stick to pinning the .25cc that I missed on Sunday and then this coming Sunday just go for the full .75cc UNLESS I get other advice from my Dr..

Still leaning toward lowt.com but could really use some more advice from the community on what their thoughts on my situation are..

It would be nice if lowt.com could tailor individual plans for certain people.

I really don't know if each state has different rules, but whenever I get bw, I fill out a form(forgot the name) and my bw is mailed to me. Of course, my doc calls me(2 weeks later), but it's nice to see results as opossed to simply hearing, "all is normal".

OP, follow your gut and go with a place that knows how to properly medicate for low T. If you're secondary (Did he even diagnose this?), then HCG will just simply provide the LH analog to the testis, and keep them healthy with some endogenous production. Your current doctor doesn't get it, and 9 out of 10 like him will never get it. Embrace what you have and make the best of it, or nut up and make a move. My journey started in similar fashion almost 5 years ago. When you 'partner' with a good doctor/clinic, you won't look back, trust me on that!

^^^^You hit the nail on the head. LT.com doctors always diagnose the cause of your LT and if you are secondary and keeping fertility intact is your wish while on TRT or you wish to father children on TRT, then absolutely they will Rx HCG . Does your current doc even know what HCG is??? I honestly think he might be getting HCG confused with HGH. I'll tell you one thing. Docs are dismissive for one reason only...They have no idea what you are talking about. Docs cannot say "I dont know"

So I called my Dr to see if my blood work was ready since it's been more than a week and to tell them that my testicles were aching and you'll never believe what the nurse Told me...

She couldn't give me my results over the phone and couldn't tell me if the results were good or bad because she wasn't the Dr and about my aching testes.. "have you tried taking some advil?"

    I'm done...
