TRT Protocol sound right?
So this is a protocol I was offered by an online clinic...
Please let me know what you think and if this would work...
test c 200mg 1x week
anastrozole .5mg 4x week
tamoxifen 20mg 3x week
hcg 500ui 2x week
Another option was...
test c 200mg 1x week
anastrozole .5mg 4x week
Tamoxifen 10mg 3x week
hcg 250ui 2x week
Which one looks better? Any feedback much appreciated..
I'm also very sensitive to estrogen conversion, hence the tamoxifen.
LOWTESTOSTERONE - please chime in, as you guys have a lot of knowledge in this area....
Thanks!

if you are sensitive to estrogen conversion, then the lower the dose of Test the better. I take 70mg test c/week and still have levels in the 700's. My big constraint is my RBC is too high, which is why I keep lowering my dose.
with TRT, believe me, "less is more"

One good way of dosing the testc is pin 100 2x week this seems to keep my sides low and my blood test levels more stable but it does add up to a lot more pinning and scar tissue

again, i'm 70mg test c/ week, pinned once a week.
my RBC is at the high end, so I donate blood every other month, and this helps control this.
I also take 80mg aspirin daily, to help reduce the risk of stroke and clotting
My E is at the high end too, so I take half a dropper of Exemestane eod. Sorry, I don't know the dose, I just mindlessly squirt the half a dropper into my mouth, and I'm too lazy to get up and get you the right answer.
I won't be having any more kids, so no HCG for me and not worried about the size of my stones.
I take 5mg 2x a day of cia, this helps performance issues for this old bull, and helps control BP
I also take BP meds, sorry, can't remember the name off the top of my head.
pretty simple actually.
others have a more complex protocol, but I like to keep things simple if I can get away with it

Find what protocol works best for you. Talk to your doc and you guys try different ones if you choose too. Whatever is easy to be compliant with and keeps you symptom free and BW in optimal safe levels. This is not one size fits all. What works for one person dosent always work for the next. These meds are all used at different dosages and at different times to combat symptoms and too regulate levels. The body changes. Ive had patients that have been using TRT for over 10 years and are still changing up protocols in response to labs and symptoms. This is the way it should be done. Another reason why you cant just pick out a protocol and say...Yep this works for me and stay on it forever. There is a reason why you need an A4m Board certified Anti-Aging Doctor and labs must be done at least 3-4 times per year. Most endocrinologists, PCP, Family doctors have no idea how to do this and just read the insert on how to give T. Most dont even monitor E2 levels.
test c 200mg 1x week (This would be a max dose on any patient per week) and a heavy dose especially to start. General good formula to start is (.9mg of T/kg body weight.) Then you can titrate up when you do labs in 5 weeks if you are still symptomatic and if you still have suboptimal levels. "START LOW...GO SLOW"
anastrozole .5mg 4x week (Only if your E2 is elevated does it need to be controlled) Taking too much AI can plunder your E2 to 0. This is bad for heart and brain.
Tamoxifen 10mg 3x week (No need for this at all...Anastrozole is the gold standard.)
hcg 250ui 2x week (good start) Generally will get full leydig cell receptor saturation with this dose. But stage testicles size. If testicals shrinking a bit with this dose. Talk to your doctor about titrating dose up a bit or adding another HCG inj day. Always discuss changes with protocls with your doctor. Hope this helpsLast edited by LowT Mike; 05-17-2013 at 04:50 PM.

Low T Mike you have me concerned now after saying BW needs to be done 3-4 times per year as a minimum. The Low T.com program covers 3 the first year and 2 per year after that.

LowTMike....
My question to you is...
If someone has had gyno issues in the past wouldn't they need to be on Tamoxifen while on TRT?
Using the .9mg of T/kg body weight, If I'm 185-190lbs, where would that put me? Dose per week?
Thanks
