Two questions about Arimidex/Anastrozole
I read the FAQ but I still have some questions about Anastrozole.
1) Is there a dosage guide somewhere? I read somewhere in a thread here that someone recommended 0.25-0.5g twice a week, but the wikipedia article states 0.5-1g every day, which is a huge difference.
2) How long after starting a regimen do you need to wait before seeing the stable outcome of that regimen, and therefore perform new blood work?

1.) 0,5g every 3 days is enough.
2.) 3-4 weeks.

What we use it for is probably not what wiki is relating it to. There is no dosing guide other than your BW and E2 level. You should always start at the lowest possible dose and titrate up if needed based on BW results. Dosing the day after your injection will help to time the peak of both the T and AI for maximum benefit with minimum drug used.
I would check E2 levels with a sensitive assay once a month for a couple months until stable. Remember, splitting your dose in half and injecting every 3.5 or 4 days will help control E as well and possibly allow you to run your protocol without an AI, which should be your goal.
Hope it helps!

Thanks, guys.
I am not taking any T at the moment, but my T is low and E2 is high so my first plan of action was to see how well Anastrozole can work for me. I can add T to the mix later if the AI is not enough.
My T: 3.28 (lab range 2.6-11)
My E2: 41 (lab range 15-47)
So I would be happy if I could double my T and halve my E2.

At 41, you should use very little AI. Start with 0.25 2x/week and see how you feel. More is not better. Too much and you crash your E2 and that can be worse than your current 41.
FYI, getting your E2 from 41 to 25 is not going to raise your T much. You may experience a few other benefits. Unless your body is very good at eliminating E2, you are not converting that much T to E2 so the AI won't do much to benefit your T levels.
