    Advice transitioning IM to SubQ

    Currently 150mg IM weekly

Want to give subQ a trial run to determine if I can keep free T up and come off the AI, stop acne, and slow hemoglobin rise

Is it advisable to move directly to 2x subQ weekly?

Or better to migrate by doing 1 IM injection then the second subQ?
If yes, then go straight to 50% dose per subQ injections, or start with 75% IM and 25% subQ and migrate over a few weeks to a 50/50 subQ protocol?

    Thanks!

just switch immediately, no need to migrate! I do 60mgs each shot twice a week and pin in two different places to avoid lump. so 30mgs two times each administration. some tolerate large does SQ but try 50mgs three times a week to keep you 150 a week, then see how you react, if all okay then increase your does and go twice a week.

if i remember correctly, sub-q is not recommended for obese men...?

i'm really having a debate with myself here, looking at videos on youtube of sub-q injections of test and all these guys look pretty lean compared to me..

    Thanks Bass!

Joseph, as I understand it, subQ is less effective the greater one's body fat. If I understand correctly, at t roughly 13% I'm going to be border line.

I use 26g 3/8" length sub-Q in the glutes and have test levels of mid 800's using only 80mg a week.

I find the glutes and love handles absorb much better than the abs and I'm a good 20% body fat (all gut and chest area).

Yeah 13% body fat is quite lean compared to the standard male populace. That would leave SQ only available to a smaller crowd.

Has anyone had their doctors object to SQ shots?

I was getting the same results when I was at 17% bf. I think for those who administrate SQ and not getting the full benefits are doing something wrong. they could be going in too deep and injecting between the fat and muscle layer. I tend to believe that the more fat the better, it guarantees SQ injection, where a skinny person could miss the fat!
