My Blood Work Results...Would I Qualify For TRT?

I'm 42 years old and have a testosterone total of 520
    Sex hormone bindong globulin 59
    Calculated free testosterone 7.4
    Calculated bioav.testosterone 173
    Free androgen index 31

Would I Qualify for testosterone replacement therapy? My doc says I'm normal.

520 at 42 is not really all that bad. Are you having symptoms and problems that you are looking for TRT to help, since the levels are not drastically low for your age I think we would need to see much more bloodwork to come to any conclusion as to if it would benefit you especially thyroid panels.

well your SHBG looks high, but youneed to post your entire BW with ranges so we can see the whole picture. lowering your SHBG will raise your testosterone . did you check for E2?

Free testosterone is what needs to be looked at. Nearly all of that 520 is bound.

good point, the number of labs was lacking so I saw the 520 and the free numbers my lab reports that number differently so without the scale attached I didn't read too much into it since I am still in the learning phase for all these tests and different measurements for results.
