    Gettign Ready

    Good Afternoon,

I have a couple of questions about HRT.
Seen numerous doctors... got all the testing I can handle.

My initial visit is going to cost me $350 for the first visit and $50 a week after that for the 2 shots.

Question - from a monetary sense, does it make more sense just to buy the same basic test e from my trusted source?

    1 bottle 250 mg/ml test E (30 ml) = $65
@ 125 mg per week, the bottle should last me a year.

This comes down to roughly $1 / week.

Is it worth the hassle to pay out the $3000 per year?

I would love to hear from anyone who has made this decision and how it is going...

    Thanks

    Rick

I don't know what "trusted source" means but I don't think anyone here would advise you to purchase anything other than legal medications.

By the way, $350 is an awful lot of money to pay for an office visit. Try the sponsor of this forum LowT.

Sounds like a rip off to me. Talk to Low T and compare apples to apples. I think you'll fare far better.

Here in NYC, HRT doctors charge up to $650 for a first visit and like $150 per visit after that. Yes, a real rip. Of course they do not take insurance. If you can't find a reasonable doc, I'd try Low T.

the 350 is the initial office visit... the shots are 50 per week.....
basically for the 350, i get the repeat the panel of tests AGAIN... then in 2 weeks, I would go back for the shots which are 50 per week or about 200 per month. which is the same as the sponsor, just without the flight.

my questions has to do more with what I will be getting vs the cost...

Do they let you do the injections yourself at home or do you have to go to the office everytime you get one? Do the prescribe an Ai and hcg to go along with the testosterone ? LowT let's you self administer the shots and provides the Ai and hcg.
As far as the trusted source goes I wouldn't go that route. You never know what you're getting and the true potency of it.

Shots are done in the office. not at home.
The AI and HCG are "dependent" on my need...

How often do you have to fly to Houston? I could do it once every 6 months or so... but not more often.

Why don't you inquire about the cost of an A.I. And HcG injections, think you will see its not the "same" cost wise as LowT. Not to mention he medical advice.....

You only have to see the Low T doctor one time a year. After your second round of bloodwork you talk to the doctor by phone to make any adjustments if needed to your protocol.
