So it has been 8 weeks since I started TRT and it's time for some blood work. I need to know what other blood tests to tell him to order for me besides these.... T3 or T4 ???
    Test- (Total & Free)
    Lipid Panel
    CBC
    CMP
LH-...is this a seperate test or is it tested with something else???
FSH...is this a seperate test or is it tested with something else???
    SHBG... same as above ^^^^^^^?????
    Estradiol ***Sensitive****
    T3 or T4???
This is my first test since I started so I want to cover everything. Thanks

I would get all that you mentioned.

Also get Hemoglobin, Hematocrit and RBC levels checked. Some people experience an above normal increase in RBC while on TRT.

    Good Luck!!

there are some good stickies about blood labs to request...

for your first follow up the most important things are testosterone and estradiol, to make sure you are roughly in the ballpark of where you want to be t-dosing wise.

otherwise, "most" things are going to be changing over the next few weeks to months. your body is in a lot of flux right now. things will settle eventually.

testing for lh and fsh is unnecessary. general health markers are not a bad idea, but it would be debatable whether or not checking them at 8 weeks is warranted IMO. I'm not a doc of course though

hematocrit and hemoglobin is part of CBC w/differential. all the above looks good. Just check Thyroid 1time per year. No LH or FSH. those hormones will be in the ground since the negative feedback loop of the HPTA haws shut down. Only do LH and FSH at the beginning to see the cause of your LOWT.

    Regular labs.

    PSA
    FREE T
    TOTAL T
    CBC
    Estradiol
    CMP
SHBG--also really only important at the beginning. this is easy to calculate using the BioT app for Iphone using total t/free t/albumin

If you havent checked thyroid in a year do it.
