Tim Ferriss Testosterone Protocol
Has anyone tried Tim Ferriss' Testosterone Protocol before going into TRT?
The reason I am asking is because I'd like to increase my testosterone naturally before going into TRT.
Protocol #1: Long-Term and Sustained
Blue Ice Royal Butter Oil / Fermented Cod Liver Oil Blend – Capsules: 2 capsules upon waking and 2 capsules before bed
Vitamin D3: 3000 – 5000 IU upon waking and before bed (6,000 – 10,000 IU per day) until you reach blood levels of 55ng/ml. Can test this at home if you like, or just ask your doctor for this easy test.
Short ice baths and/or cold showers: 10 minutes each, upon waking and right before bed
Brazil nuts: 3 nuts upon waking and 3 nuts before bed
Protocol #2: Short-Term and Fun “Nitro Boost”
20-24 Hours Prior to Sex: Eat at least 800 milligrams of Cholesterol (example: four or more large whole eggs or egg yolks) within three hours of bedtime, the night before you want to have incredible sex. Why before bed? Testosterone is derived from cholesterol, which is primarily produced during sleep (between midnight and 4:00 – 6:00 A.M.).
Four Hours Prior to Sex:
1. Four Brazil Nuts
2. Twenty Raw Almonds
3. Two Capsules of the Blue Ice Royal Butter Oil / Fermented Cod Liver Oil Blend – Capsules

That is basically a vitamin a, vitamin d and selenium protocol. I actually just had a bunch of bloodwork done, and in spite of a really healthy diet (no grains, no processed, healthy fats, lots of veg and real free ranging meat) I had next to no vitamin A and very little vitamin D. My selenium was good, but that's because I already add brazil nuts to my protein shakes. I say all this because unless you are already supplementing these, it is likely that you will have some overall benefit from the nutritional changes here (but don't go too crazy with fat soluble vitamins without checking levels because they are toxic in very high quantities). I would be surprised if they will materially impact your whole sex hormone profile.
Also, the cold pack thing, as I understand from briefly reading Ferriss a few years ago, is designed to raise your metabolic rate - he thinks cooling yourself down and forcing your body to reheat will help you lose fat - I don't think he theorises that it impacts T.

^^^^protocol to cure sickness used to be to apply leaches to drain blood. This reminds me of the ice theory. In theory tht sounds good but only theory. I'm not packing ice or cold baths unless I play football again!

I have tried it all and verified via blood work. Only thing that worked for me was TRT lol. Good luck though, we all different so it's worth a try.

There's nothing magic here.
Its just ensuring a person gets more healthy fats and corrects a possible vitamin D deficit. The average person needs help on both these issues.
The ice baths have been looked at by some alternative sources, and they might have some legitimacy; but don't expect these few things to do much on their own...
