testosterone prescription at cvs
im on trt 140mg test per week. i get 200mg 10ml bottles of test from cvs. i recently purchased my test on 5/20/13. i went on cvs.com to refill some other prescriptions and i noticed under the prescriptions available for refill section, that my test prescription could be refilled on 6/14/13. this is less than a month from when i refilled last time. why can i refill so early? has anyone had any experience with this? i feel like cvs is bating me. they want me to refill early and do a cycle.

just leave it alone mate.
I was at my pharm (Kaiser), and they got my order wrong. I filled half my order the day before (test) and the current day I was only looking for needle tips. But when I went to pick up my order, viola! more test! So I scratch my head, and ask the lady if this is right. she said yes. I said it doesn't look right. she looked at me, rechecked my order, and she was totally relieved. She took the test back, and thanked me for my honesty. Had I walked out that door with the test, they would have realized the mistake at a later time, and then questioned HER as to why she gave me unauthorized class 3 drugs? People get fired over mistakes like these.
So just be nice, don't get anyone in trouble, and just get it refilled on scheduled, regardless of what CVS says.
Make sense?

^^x2. Plus, your Doc may find out that you're refilling early & refuse to treat you as a result. Remember, there are no free rides on this...

Agreed and agreed. Do not try to cheat the system. It could be bad for you and that is the kind of things that will cause blowback to the industry, making it harder for all of us to get treatment.

How many refills are on script ? I can get a full 6 months at a time, but if I run out before the six months then no refills! You have to be responsible for your self! Just cause the candy bowl is full doesn't mean you should eat it all at once.

cvs might say one thing, but if you go through insurance then insurance would probably deny payment if you fill too early. the easiest way is just to set a reminder on your calendar when to refill. it's not like you will slip up and accidently start abusing testosterone at twice the dose. that would be a personal decision and have nothing to do with CVS telling you to fill your Rx...

Walgreens will only refill my TESTOSTERONE CYPIONATE 2 weeks in advance
My insurance, United Healthcare, wont cover HRT because they consider it 'general maintenance', i guess like shampoo & toothpaste. So this has nothing to do with insurance, i will just pay cash. Androgel 1.62% was going to be $300/mo for 1 bottle. 10ml Watson TEST CYP was going to be $107, which lasted approx 5 months. I take other medications too. So to properly budget my income/bills, i always refill my medication the first day of every month. I always call Walgreens & refill by the automated system. So one month i typed in the perscription #s to all my medications + the TEST CYP. The end recording said, ".....all your perscriptions will be refilled." I went the next day to pick it all up at the drive thru. The guy asked why i need my TEST CYP one whole month early. I said, "I was not aware it was that early". Really guys, I was not trying to pull a fast one here. When i look in the 10ml vial, 2ml does not look like a stockpile by far, it looks like you are close to being out. I should have check the date on the bottle & should not have tried to refill before 5 months was close to being up. So they did not give it to me and told me to refill it next month. So just because the automated system or web site allows you to refill, it could still be rejected by a person at the register.

My insurance charges me by the month. When my prescription was 200mg x2 weeks, the 5ml vial lasted me for two and a half months. BCBSNC charged me $8 (Test E is a generic med). But when my doc changed it to 100mg E5D, it now only lasts six weeks. So my cost for the same vial went to $4. I can buy all five months worth if I am willing to not use insurance. If I buy it through the insurance website, I can get a 90 day supply for $8.

It sounds like cvs screwed up and put it through for a 30 day supply .....all insurances will allow you to pick up all medicine when there 75 percent gone ..
Here's a tip if any of you guys are paying out of pocket
I used Walgreens for a long time it's like 116.00 bux for a 200mg/ml 10ml vial of usually Watson cyp .. This is the industries generic brand of depo-test wich I was able to get name brand for 84 bux ... But recently found out that ... Costco is the place to buy this from ....
Watson cyp same dosage 59 bux if member 65 non member
That's alot of extra pins ...
