cortisol and Thyroid levels from last bloodwork

Hey Guys, havent been on in a while, but I had some questions I been meaning to ask regarding the following from a blodwork done a couple months back:

    Cortisol 23.6 High (Range 6.2 - 19.4)

    Thyroid Panel
    Thyroxine (T4) 8.0 (Range 4.5 - 12.0)
    T3 Uptake 34 (Range 24-39)
    Free Thyroxine Index 2.7 (Range 1.2 - 4.9)
    Reverse T3, Serum 20.3 (Range 9.2 - 24.1)

Looks like my cortisol is high, which I am not surprised by. Any recommendations?
    Any issues with the Thyroid?

I was on TRT (75mg/ 2x week plus HCG 250iu/2xweek) at the time.

    Thanks

your thyroid looks fine form what I see, did you do TSH? cortisol could be many things, depression, stress, inflammation, pituitary gland tumor, kidney, liver... and the list goes on.

In going to assume stress. Any recommendations for something like this?

Your thyroid looks normal. Did you have TSH drawn?

Appears you're converting T4 to T3 nicely, though RT3 is creeping up on the high-side of normal. Have you had any liver values done?

I wouldn't throw a fuss about the cortisol. A one-time (AM) blood-draw should and is expected to be high. Your's happened to be very high, but cortisol consistency fluctuates given life-style events (both emotional and physical demands).

Can you recall if you were stressed during the time of the blood draw (in general). Also, what's your body fat? Where on your body do you tend to gain or notice weight most easily? Is it difficult to loose weight?

If you want to address the cortisol, regardless, I would look into 1000 mg of Rhodiola Rosea Root, 1000-1500 mg of Ashwagandha Root, 200 mg of 5-HTP, and 400 mg of L-Theanine for 6-8 weeks. You would cycle the first two listed with the last two listed, respectively, and create two "stacks" for 12 weeks (Rhodiola/5-HTP and Ashwagandha/L-Theanine)
