Gel to injections

On trt , was using androgel . Didn't seem to be working. Doctor wanted me to take higher dose of the gel but my benefits don't seem cover the cost. I was already paying 60 a month and he wanted me to go higher.

Now he's prescribed me. 200mg twice a month but I will be doing 100mg once a week.

Just not sure if I should just stop the gel and the next day do an Injection or continue with the gel for a few days.

I've been trying to search for the answer but not really having any luck. The pharmacist told me to just stop gel once I inject. Just figured id see what you guys thought.

I stopped the gel when I started the injections with no problems.

Stop the gel one morning and the next day start your injections. You'll be fine. Spend some time here researching twice weekly protocols as well and make sure your E2 is in control. You will need to test levels in about 6 weeks and then titrate if needed. Read up on HCG as well. Let us know how your transition goes on this thread please. Many here will be interested in this.

I have continued a low dose gel for over four weeks now, kept me feeling great through the transition, even with that I start to feel a bit low the last few days prior to my injection, going to home injections next week and will split the 100mgs twice per week and drop the gel.

You can follow a similar routine to XC if you so choose. Timing is just guesswork though as to how long you want to do double duty. Everyone metabolizes differently, therein lies the problem.

I crashed hard after the 4th day of no cream. So I lowered the test cyp a tad and used the cream at like 1/4-1/5 usual dose to get me by the first 3 weeks or so. Of course my total test came back at 1185 8 weeks later, not sure if adding in the cream elevated that or not.
