Test Cyp: Why is this the prefered TRT ester

Is everyone is on Cypionate , I was prescribed it as well, but went with Enanthate because I already had some on hand. My pharm never has Test E in stock. From my understanding they are virtually the same thing. Is there a reason Cyp is the preferred choice?

Availability. Cyp seems to be more available in the US, therefore prescribed more.

Now my pharm says it's not available, making the switch to cyp. Will I notice anything making the switch to cypionate ?

You will not notice the difference. They are basically used interchangeably.

it's just custom. apparently enanthate is more popular in european countries.

it doesn't matter though. if someone says they can tell a difference I would figure they are wrong about other things as well lol...

only thing you might tell a difference, however, is different oils and concentrations of preservatives (allergies). I have no idea if the enanthate and cypionate from major retailers in the US is significantly different.

No real difference. Both have about the same active half-lives and peak serum test levels the same

it is possible with the different esthers, oils, and concentrations (200 vs 250 mg/ml), it is possible that one could experience some pip with one and not the other.
