quick conversion question for my syringe

    Hey guys..
I just want to double check I injected the right amount of Testosterone with these syringes.

I ran out of my normal syringe the other day, and I have about 100 of these insulin syringes
with a 25g needle attached to them that the pharmacy sent to me by mistake.

    My test dose is .5ml

The syringe has 100 units marked on it.
So to get to .5ml I would fill the syringe to the 50 units mark,
    correct?

I'm attaching a pic of the syringe

    Thanks! Trace

Assuming your test is 200mg per ml, it would be .25 or 25 units.

***Never-mind the above, I was thinking you were taking 50mg of test so 100% is correct***

    Thanks!

BTW I was surprised as to how much easier it was to push the plunger in with this skinny syringe
compared to the bigger circumference. 3ML size.

With the skinny one, I barley had to put any pressure on the plunger.. if felt like my muscle was sucking it right in
at a nice steady slow pace.

When i use the bigger one I have to press really really hard on the plunger which makes it really difficult
to inject into delts and stay nice and steady.

Go very slow. Smaller gauge needles push out a very sharp stream often compared to a pressure washer. This can damage tissue.

In using the same gage needle as before 25g and going slow.

My point is, less pressure is needed to push the plunger in with the smaller circumference syringe then a bigger one with the same needle size.
