Injecting into quadriceps and nerves?
When injecting into the quads is there any nerves to be concerned about like there is when doing glute injection?
I would imagine injecting into the quad is straight froward. Just find the muscle then inject half way up from the knee...

pretty much. I will say that I have hit a lot of nerves and had the "twitches" with quads. I actually prefer the wife doing my injections into my delts, painless for the most part and I don't have to do it myself and anticipate the "pain"...lol. she is REALLY good at it too.

why not try SQ injections, no aspirating, no pain, no veins to worry about, and the best part you can do it in any fat slab with a slin! to make it easy I inject in two places to reduce the amount going into the fat.

I did quads for a long time but then after almost 2 years I started to hit nerves or becoming sensitive. I have since started using multiple areas doing subQ with no issues.

Quads are probably the least favorite spot generally of patients. Tendacy to get more sore and yes I know what you mean about nerve issues... Many nerve sytems that can induce a contraction of the quad while your injecting. Generally no real danger to this just feels weird. SQ or buttock IM

It is acceptable to inject gear sub Q? I thought it HAD to be injected into muscle

when I used to do quads I would sometimes go near a nerve (I imagine) and it would sort of make my leg twitch. it was weird and I didn't like it!

I get the quad twitch and the glute twitch at times from my 1.5" needles. For some reason, my left quad likes to bleed after an injection, too (although nowhere else bleeds).
Still have not made the switch to SQ... I need to figure out how to measure 50 mgs of test in an insulin syringe. My doc advocated I not do SQ as apparently the blood flow is higher deeper in the muscle which results in good absorption and less risk of infection. LOL, I do hCG SQ 3X a week, so I'm still in the higher infection risk category anyways . I really don't think that matters... I just need to get up the nerve to figure out the measurement and how to draw and then just do it.

I inject into quads, After jabbing it it fast and hitting a nerve once(not fun) I now push the needle in real slow(just as painless as doing it fast) and after breaking the skin I can tell right away if I'm in a real sensitive area(nerve) and do another spot. This really takes the anxiety out of it for me. Here's a vid I found very helpful on IM quad injections.
Once I get my TRT dialed in I will consider switching to subQ, I don't see any reason not to.

My test cyp is 200 mg/ml. The insulin syringes I get are 1ml, marked with 100 divisions. 50mg would be 25 units, or .25 ml.
Since the insulin syginges are small you will be more accurate in your measurements.

I've inj quads at least 40 times now. Haven't hit a nerve yet but I did hit a blood vessel once. Pull it out and try again. Nbd imo.
