estradiol goes down when test goes up?

So when I first started treatment my test was 282 /160-726.
    My estradiol was 30/ 12-41.

One week later my family doctor runs some tests.
    Now= test 649/ 175-781
    Estradiol 17/ 0-41
This is before adding an AI.

WTF? How did it go down? I thought it would go up?
I was having itchy nips, that's why I got tested. Low t has taken over my protocol so I started taking .5 Anastrozole a week. I wonder If I even have any estrogen in my body?lol.
    I don't feel bad. I feel great!

Could that test be a mistake? When I asked her she said "since your testosterone has went up your estrogen has decreased". Im a little confused. I get retested by low t in three weeks. I assume I should continue my .5 Anastrozole until bloods come back.

    I'd hate to tank it.

I have had weird results too. My estrogen doesn't seem to go up no matter how high my test goes.

I can't really comment as I am relatively new.

It looks like two different e2 test, I suggest staying with one and the lapcorp sensitive e2 is probably the most accurate.

I agree with above. Your test is not a sensitive assay I would say. Your doctor is wrong from what I know and WHAT I HAVE EXPERIENCED. However you need to do some research. And know about these tests and ask the lab as well as your doctor. ....crazy mike

PS: I just caught...family doctor. They don't know whet they are doing in this type of medicine. Bet he has no clue as to a male sensitive assay. ...crazy mike

In your case I'd consider trusting your nips before the labs.

Maybe only take .25 per week.......ya wanna keep feelin great!

I've kinda of always thought I could tell if my E2 was too high by my mood and my urine flow....if my flow was lower that equals higher E2 because my prostate is swelling some and restricting urine flow.

living with high e2 if far less dangerous than living with no e2, i'd say run the corrects test now and do what's needed.

Thanks so much guys for responding. Im getting a sensitive test in three weeks. Those tests were from separate labs. I don't feel bad but the labs will tell the tail. I don't know what I would've done without you guys on this site helping guide me through this journey.

    Thank you.
