    HRT and Deca

Just curious if anyone uses deca for joint pain while on HRT and if you've been able to get it prescribed by your endo.

I'm 42, on 200mg/wk HRT and have had a couple shoulder surgeries over the last 10 years. I have a lot of shoulder aches, joint pain, now when working out and hbrlieve that Deca is supposed to help a lot with this?

How do you approach your doc about it. I fear he would think I want it for the wrong reasons.

Did your doc bring it up or did you suggest it?

I'm sure it would help, shoulders kill after working pretty much any upper body, chest, back, even bis, lol. Can't do any over head presses (which I'm ok with) and just do lateral raises, upright rows and shrugs for shoulders.

What if you don't have joint pain? Any reason to add Deca ? Increase strength, muscle, etc? Do you cycle it or run it constantly?

deca is not a cure for joint pain, the pain relief is temporary just like anything else.

Multiple reasons to utilize deca . Deca is highly anabolic and will pack on size very quickly, it also runs with a very long ester so even after you cycle it's still working for you. It's a 19 nor so it does not ato to estrogen as bad as tes. And when stacked with tes ( as it should always be) dude its the shit! I prefer it even over tren due to trens nasty habit of major suppression. On the same note all the things I mentioned are the things you need to watch. Make sure gains are muscle not water retention, if you need it out of your system, it takes awhile. If you hit it too hard without enough tes, oops, no hard driving sex for awhile. But after you get used to it and how to control any sides that might come up, it gets better and better to use. I like to cycle with 400mgs to 600mgs wkly for about 12 to 14 wks lay off then run maint. doses around 100 to 150 mgs wkly. rest of the year!

Agree with this. If you have joint pain I would initially look into TB500, MSM Powder and DMSO gel. A therapeutic dose would be 100-200mg per week. A bodybuilding dose is as tectime mentioned, 4-600mg per week. If you plan on asking your doc to write you for it you will probably have to educate him on the benefits of it.

My shoulders don't hurt all the time, just when I'm in DOMS from chest or back days, or if I do any overhead presses (that's more popping though so I skip that crap)

If I didn't lift I don't think I would need anything for the pain, don't think I would even know my shoulders had issues.

    Thanks for the info though.

Yeah, I have had to do a bit of that already to get him to prescribe hcg and anastrozole, script for 1mg/day, but I just cut it in fourths and I have not had any more nip tenderness.

I would like to talk to him about deca , will see how that goes next time I see him. Just don't want him to freak and think I'm trying to get him to prescribe a steroid cycle, lol. I know this stuff has a lot of positives for health if its not abused. Anyway, thanks for the info.

Just stress the difference between therapeutic and otherwise.
