Hey there, I know there is a few guys that are wondering about fertility and TRT
Well, after a year of trying to get my fiancé preggy while on TRT it happened.
I was losing hope because I had a very low sperm count prior to TRT.
My protocol is
200mg test enathate /week ( two 100mg shots a week ) ...
250iu hcg 3xweek(MWF)...
Ai .5mg 2xweek
Now, as long as this baby turns out to be mine and not the mail mans lol
I'm pretty happy about this!Last edited by TraceMYD; 07-27-2013 at 12:21 PM.

I'm getting a DNA test before signing a birth certificate.
Sad but, it's easy for anyone to walk into a sperm clinic and get inseminated.

A funny story. My son came out with red hair. I don't have red hair but at the time our mail man had red hair we were all friends in the neighborhood and also with the mail man . The joke in the neighborhood was my son was from the mail man. Haa! it was cute at the time. ...crazy mike

Congrats Trace! This is awesome news.
Did you start the hCG when you began the testosterone injections? Were you ever azoospermia one point?Last edited by phaedo; 07-27-2013 at 04:43 PM.

No I didn't start the HCG until about 4 months after starting testosterone . My nuts shrank up pretty small during that time so I'm only guessing that they were completely shut down at that time. When I started HCG my nuts dropped back down.
I have never gotten my sperm count retested while on TRT. The only thing i did was get some frozen as a "plan b" before starting and I had to make several deposits because my count was low.
Hope that helps.

If I can chime in on Trace's thread (don't mean to hijack) - I've been on TRT for two-and-a-half years without hCG . I did a semen analysis which came back azoospermia. Within weeks of starting hCG and hMG in conjunction with TRT, my testicles dropped and become engorged in both size and firmness; a very noticeable change. I won't perform another semen analysis for a month, since the minimum amount of time for spermatogenesis to complete a full cycle is roughly 90 days.

Awesome OP! It gives everyone else hope! I want kids at some point in the future.
I will say that you better check though, nothing good has ever came from fully trusting a woman. Nothing.

Her libido will most likely kick back in soon. My wife is almost 17 weeks and her libido is starting to kick back in. Once your wife gets over most of the nausea, heartburn, wanting to eat every hour & sleeping 18 hours per day things will perk up again. All women & every pregnancy is different though, last pregnancy was very different than this one so who knows LOL.

My wife had just now began staying awake in the evening while sitting on the couch, up until a few days ago I would have to wake her up to go get ready for bed LOL. They're going through A LOT right now. My wife told me when I got home earlier that she finally feels like a normal human again, sorta lol.

Congrats!!! I was one of the fortunate ones to have a baby on TRT, too. I was on for 6 months I think when she got preggers. We had a DNA test done, for family history reasons. He's all mine and a huge 9 month old boy... Enjoy it!!

A labcorp test, a swab test. It was fast and easy, the paperwork took longer than the actual swabbing. My tribe requires all tribal offspring to be dna tested, so it was free... I know that drugstores have them for $50-100, but they aren't "legally binding. "
