Naturopath bs or what's the deal?

My mom sent me to a naturopath. She wants to check my hormones through a test where I have to piss and spit in a damn jug all day (what's Wrong with a simple bloo test). The naturopath also says wants to try put me on dhea instead to see if it works for me..wtf is what I was thinking. AND she wants me to try all these vitamins and minerals to help my depression. I'm pretty old school in my ways an this sounds like a bunch of yippy new age bullllllshhhiittt. Am I way off on this? I'd like to hear your guys opinions

First off, you're not that far off in my opinion.

I believe that my strong Christian faith & trust in God can get me through anything BUT, I am 100% not against modern medicine & living live better through chemistry. TRT has changed my life.

If you're really feeling poorly & your quality of life is circling the drain, seek professional medical treatment. Life is too short to not enjoy it.

I'd give up everything if diet alone could bring me to optimal levels. Not a chance on earth. RDA's are a joke really.

Sounds like it's time to see the Dr. If BW & all the correct examinations & screening tell the Dr. you have no other recourse but TRT then go for it.

If you're in Vancouver, take a trip to Calgary and see Dr. Bruce Hoffman - I've heard nothing but good things about him.
