New to TRT, need some advice on how to start right

Hi, I recently joined because I just found out a couple of days ago that I have low testosterone . My lab results came back as:

    Free T: 8.8 (9.3-26.5)
    Testosterone , serum: 402 (348-1197)

I'm 26yrs old. I had to get help going through puberty when I was 16-17 because my body didn't produce test by it self. I'm seeing a endocrine soon about potentially getting on TRT and wanted to get some advice from some knowledgeable people on here.

I've only done the labs mentioned above, but was wondering what other tests I should do to get a full understanding of my situation?

I've been doing a lot of reading on here and it seems like 100mg of cyp. every week is something I should strive to get. I also want to have kids in the future so would trying to get hCG be something I should look into too?

    Thank you.

Good information regarding finding a good TRT Dr & pertinent BW needed: http://forums.steroid.com/hormone-re...physician.html

Can you post the ranges associated with your lab results?

From what I've read here 100mg of Test Cyp seems to be a good starting dose depending on your specific situation & BW. I started with topical gels & have recently started Test Cyp injected twice per week.

HCG is a must if you want to have a really good chance of having children later down the road.

Ranges have been added to the original post. I found an endocrinologist already, but do I need a TRT physician as well? I thought I would get the TRT from my endocrine...

EverettCD Just read your post on HCG , that's great news. I think that was one of the main reasons I wasn't sure if TRT was right for me. Thanks
