has anyone stopped taking hcg while on trt and had to increase their testosterone dosage? if so, how much did you increase your testosterone dosage? i stopped hcg because it was causing high estradiol.

what not take AI's to control your E2? you need hCG to keep your testis healthy. what's your complete protocol? BTW, when I stopped hCG my testis shrunk pretty quick! and if you don't care about the shrinking and other benefits of hCG simply increase by 10-20 mgs per week to replace the test produced by hCG. let your doc know what want to do. but from your question I am guessing your doc has very limited knowledge of TRT.

X2. There’s something wrong with your protocol if E2 is being elevated with the use of HCG . IMO, proper TRT can actually give us men our nuts back (in-life) so to speak. In order to keep them, we must supplement with HCG…

right now im on 100mg testosterone . i stopped hcg three weeks ago. my balls havent shrunk. my dr is very knowledgeable. i haven't consulted with him on the issue because he is very expensive to talk to. i have found that no arimidex is definitely the way to go for me. when i stopped taking arimidex my sex drive went up and i started making gains. since stopping hcg i have noticed a decrease in strength and sex drive.

so you're making these adjustments on your own? sounds like your E2 goes up with hCG which is expected, and that's why I suggested to take AI to combat E2 conversion. but you need to do BW to make these kinds of adjustments, not by how you feel. low and high E2 symptoms are similar in many ways.

Agreed, I had low E2 and felt like crap. Your libido probably cratered from the adex - it happened to me. A very little bit of that stuff (even 0.25mg) can go a LOOOONG way!

What is your hCG dosage and your E2 levels when they were high?

I'm not a doctor but hCG and testosterone are two completely different animals - true, hCG will increase natural testosterone production, but replacing hCG with more test is not really an apples to apples tradeoff.

Did you consider maybe smaller injections of hcg instead of stopping? Did you try DIM and zinc to help your E issues? Abrupt change is usually not the path to take.
