Blood test data after 12 wks TRT
Results as follows:
Total T 45nmol/l = 1335ng/dL (Range 10 - 33 nmol/l = 300 - 1000ng/dl)
Free T 1057pmol/l (Range - greater than 110
SHBG 41 nmol/l (Range 10 - 50)
Estradiol 494 pmol/l = 134 pg/ml (Range less than 180 pmol/l)
DHEA-S 18 umol/l = 666 mcg/dl (Range greater than 7.5umol/l)
Vit D 146 nmol/l = 56 ng/ml (Range
Protocol has been as follows:
20 mg T EOD = 70 mg/wk T (injected as T prop sub-q)
Hcg 300iu EOD = 1000iu/wk (was at 750iu/wk but had aching testicles - okay now )
No AI for the last month (I mistakenly overdosed, so took nothing for the last 5 weeks - it was 0.2 mg/wk previously)
50mg DHEA slow release/d
50 mg pregnenolone/d
Observations:
The levels of total and free T are surprisingly high. Maybe drop the T dose back to 40 - 50 mg/wk of T - aim for 800ng/dL = 27nmol/l
Will need the AI again - E2 is way over - hard to believe it has rebounded to this extent??
Vit D looks about mid range
DHEA - S is at the top end of the normal range.
Other:
I think I am feeling better overall
Delayed ejaculation still being experienced - penis sensitivity not what it used to be
Erections not bad but room for improvement
Still not as energetic as I would like to be
What do you think guys?

Id like to see what e2 sensitive was but yeah your high. I also cant believe you can get such high test numbers from such low testosterone injections. The numbers don't make sense to me but I'm no expert and others that are will chime in.

Titrate down.
Control E2 and erections will improve.
Get D to the top of range as it will help reduce shbg. So will stinging nettle / avenacosides.
Drastic changes like totally dropping your AI instead of a dose adjustment can basically cause a roller coaster ride. Small incremental titrations are always in your best interest.

yes lowering your dose is a good idea, I will also help with converting less to E2. once you get your E2 in check you might get away supplementing with zinc only in stead of AI.

Thanks Bass - before the a/z stuff up I was taking 50 mg zinc/d as well as 0.2mg a/z per week which had the E2 in the right range. Will have to re calibrate.. JH.
