    Local vs Overseas Meds

I know there is a strong advocacy in the US to not source overseas meds... however, I just discovered something interesting. I use a namebrand testosterone (Watson) that is distributed from CA. However, if you read the fine print, it is actually manufactured in Portugal. I'm sure if I ordered it from Portugal that the FDA would seize it (assuming they actually found it). This gives a little more credence to the notion that overseas pharmacies (and I mean legit pharmacies with certifications and who require prescriptions) and/or manufacturers are used in our mainstream namebrand medicines.

Contrast this to the spinal tap medications manufactured in the US a year or two ago that were causing severe cases of meningitis because at least one manufacturing facility had mold entering the medications from unsanitary conditions. Makes you wonder!

It's all about the $$$ to be honest, I wish I could make my own drugs lol at least then I know it would have some kind of quality control.

Almost all meds are made overseas, most coming from India.

Are we sure our drugs are safe? - CNN.com

According to cnn, nearly 40% of the drugs taken by Americans are made overseas. And, 80% of the ingredients to make those drugs come from foreign countries-mainly India and China. I was surprised at this.

It's great to know that China made junk has been in my medicine cabinet for years, not to mention all the other China made crap we own....

As for the Test Cyp, that's the 3rd thing I read on the vial before I left the counter at the pharmacy. Sadly I wasn't very surprised when i read the vial & saw that it's not made here.....
