Short article. Read the last sentence of the conclusion. Finally catching on....

The data suggest that men with levels around 300 nanograms who complain of sexual problems may want to try testosterone , but those who complain of flagging muscle strength should not blame testosterone deficiency, Dr. Finkelstein said. But, he added, “symptoms of low testosterone tend to be quite vague.”

The doctor didn't say muscle loss isn't seen. He said strength loss wasn't seen.
"The data suggest that men with levels around 300 nanograms who complain of sexual problems may want to try testosterone , but those who complain of flagging muscle strength should not blame testosterone deficiency, Dr. Finkelstein said. But, he added, "symptoms of low testosterone tend to be quite vague."

im not saying you cant be strong. I bench around 3 plates, before i ****ed my back up i dled mid 4's and squat well it's not great but i can do around 245x20 if i have steam coming out of my ears. Yes you can get strong, but i definitley think going from 190 like you had to 900 will result in large improvements. Plus dude if you had high igf 1 you arent the typical andropausal low t male

But Dr. Finkelstein’s study found that muscle strength and size turn out to be unaffected until testosterone levels drop very low, below 200 nanograms. Fat accumulation, however, kicks in at higher testosterone levels: at 300 to 350 nanograms of testosterone, estrogen levels sink low enough that middle-aged spread begins.

Never did roads at all. I'm pretty sure my problem stems from anti depressants. My strength hasn't gone down with low t but mY muscle has and stomach fat went very high. 2 years on hrt I've lost 50 pounds and got some strength back

strength = CNS for the most part so that's why the doc is right.

I thought an increase in E2 meant increased belly fat? He says its from a decrease or none? Maybe the issue is balance and not lower or higher? I'll be happy when I find that number...

Now that I think of it, at 200-300ng/dl, the only big problem I had was libido and sleep deprivation. I was getting stronger (not bigger) and had low body fat (I ran 5 days a week). When I introduced test (testim), I started getting bigger, stronger and more ripped. Had an awesome libido and slept great. That lasted for a whole two years and then came rapidly crashing down. Now I am in search for that feeling again. So far nada even on shots, HCG and aromasin . Maybe I should just go back to where I was based on that article.
