Question Strange Blood Panel - Questions

    Hi all,
I was considering running a cycle of Form-XT aromotase inhibitor,
So I has a blood panel done. The results were

    LSH:2.9
    FSH:4.5
    Testosterone total:373 (range 240-800)
    Testosterone free; 106 (range 40-210)
    Estradiol: 27 range (14-30)

My endocrinologist considers these results normal, since the my testosterone is within what encompasses a normal range for men from 1-79.

Unfortunately, my test levels are equitable to someone who is 80, not 20 as I am.

I am 20, 200lbs, And bench 330lbs, to offer reference to my current physique. I have no noticeable low test symptoms.

Should I be concerned with these results?
Also, I am considering adding high doses of Zinc (40mg), Magnesium (750mg), and Vitamin D (4,000IU) per day as such are proven to increase free test by 20% on average in studies.

    Thanks in advance,
    Austin

Edit original post and put range next to your results. Also, any other blood work such as SHBG and vitamin D?

Depending on the range for your E2, 27 is ideal. I would not run anyone kind of AI or your joints are going to feel like crap and you will encounter libido issues.

Not if your below the optimal range it won't. Optimal range can very from person to person but most feel best between 25-35 pg/nL, right where you are sitting.

    Ok,
Well my main question is whether my testosterone levels , based on this information, are acceptable.

Total test is low and free test is a little over mid range. I wouldn't worry if you have no symptoms. Any blood work showing SHBG and vitamin D?

My endocrinologist says that "nothing is wrong" and that I "have nothing to worry about at all".....

Mine said the same so I had to go see a specialist. Hard to find well informed Dr's that specialize in hormones, and TRT in general.

If SHBG is high, you can supplement with vitamin D to get this down and it will increase your free test. But you have to keep an eye on vitamin D levels as you want to be in the upper 1/3 range.

I assume total is ng/dL and free is pg/mL. I would request a copy of all blood labs so you know for sure as well as for your records.

30mg zinc and 2mg copper in morning. 400mg magnesium at night. Vitamin D should be dosed on blood labs. Majority need 10000iu daily to get in the upper 1/3 range. 12000iu daily brought me from 28 to mid 80's on a range of 30-100. Get blood work to be safe.

Zinc depletes copper. For every 25-30mg of zinc, add 2mg of copper. Many zinc supplements will include copper.

These scales are laughable. How do you put a 20 year old kid and a 79 year old in the same categeory? The biggest thing is how you feel man.

    Good question,
    It's patently illogical.
