pre loading syringes with hcg and freezing

I just want to say pre loading syringes with hcg and freezing it is sooooo convenient. I've only been on therapy around four months and got sick of pulling it out of the fridge, swabbing the top, opening another box, loading syringe etc,etc.haha. Three times a week. That coupled with my test twice a week. I'm pretty busy all the time and this is quick and convenient.

Last week I loaded em all up and I can say it's made things easier. Just grab it, wipe my belly, pin and done. You got to let it thaw. After the gym pull one out, hop in the shower and its ready when you get out.

Just thought I'd remind any of the newer guys who are pinning five days a week. The ceremony leading to the injection was getting old to me.

    Thank you whoever posted that.

the purpose for freezing was to prolong the shelf life, but if that's how you want to do it then each to his own. for me it takes less than a minute to inject hCG from the vial, no biggie!

I've just started TRT. I have an 11,000iu vial of HCG . I'm supposed to inject .25ml twice per week. Will this bottle last a long time in the fridge?

It should have an expiration date. If not freezing can prolong its life.

Yeah bass. Thats another reason. After it expired I still had almost half leftover. Thats another good point.

I don't think so. I assume you mean 10,000 units. If mixed with 10 ml of solvent, you will have enough for 40 injections (20 weeks at your rate of consumption). Depending on manufacturer, it may begin to degrade after 60 days or earlier.

    Read this thread:
how long does hcg last once you mix it?

do what Jay is doing, pre load your syringes and freeze them, this way you can use the whole vial for as long as you want.

do you have syringes with removable needles? i use slin pins and would imagine they would get contaminated doing itt this way, plus the thaw aspect would bother me

Everthing is the same proceess except its froze before injected. I keep em in a zip lock freezer bag. 30/ 1/2" slins. I've read others on here doing the same thing with no ill effects.

Good idea to freeze pre loaded pins. I just pre load and place it in the fridge.

It's my understanding that meds can be used way after the expiration date. Expiration date is there for legal purposes only to prevent abuse - to keep manufacturers honest. I'm holding 4 vials of hCG that expire this month but I still intend to use it for the next few months. If my balls start shrinking, then I'll worry and order some more.

it's not about the exp date..it's about how long it's been since bottle was first mixed. my hcg expires late 2014, but it wont be good even in december of this year.

Of course after you mix. It says 30 days "on mine" not a date like food has.

What do you not understand? The permanently attached needle on the insulin syringe is placed in the stopper of a sterile vial, the HCG is drawn from the vial, the cap is replaced over the needle, then it's placed in the freezer. How does this contaminate the needle?

well it gets exposed to the air's bacteria, and then you recap it and let it sit for months. The way i inject now, it is only exposed to the air for 15 seconds.

Yes, it's convenient, especially if you pin every day. Takes me about 40 days to go thru a 5000iu vial. So, I don"t bother freezing them anymore. I used to freeze them, but thaw time was longer than just doing the entire proces each day. I never experienced any contamination. I wrapped them in foil and stored them in a tupperware container.

So you guys think mine will be good for 50 days? It says it's good for 30. I read some vets say on here that after the expiration they add a little more to make up for lost potency.

If that's the case "and its good a couple weeks after experation" I'll just preload and refrigerate.

What am I thinking! I'll just put 6 pins in the freezer and pull em out around the third week.

unfortunately hCG I different, it has proteins and they are very fragile, it degrades pretty quick after 8-10 weeks.

Talking about the powder. Can't see that happening with the freeze dried powder before it's reconstituted.

Just spoke with the owner of all my pharmacies on this...Be careful when freezing. I havent been able to find any studies on this, but pharmacist and biochemist have said constant freezing and thawing of HCG in water will cause the ice crystals to destroy the proteins.

Yes it will last. That so called exp on the bottle just means that the pharmacy has only tested there potency out for 30 days. they did not test out longer than that. Simple marketing stratagy to get you to by more. In general HCG should last up to 3 months...never goes bad mind you. just loses 10% potency every month after that. So you can still use it after 3 months. Just anee up 10% more per shot. Also HCG dosent go bad if you leave it out over night. You can travel with HCG for up to 3 weeks unrefrigerated before it starts losing potency and same 10% loss can implemented. Theres also the DEA diversion law that states all compounding pharmacies medications can only be dispensed for 1 month. Thus the 28 day expiration written on some bottles. This of course is written very grey and is up for interpretation by your pharmacist. All of these factors play it to all the urban legends of HCG.

It will never "go bad" or "spoil". expiration just means it may no longer contain the strength as when you first recon'ed it. Buy HCG from a good pharmacy like empower. Ive done Gas chromograph studies on hCG and it last much longer than you think. As barbaric as it sounds use your testical size before and after injection as a measurement of effectiveness. Its actually a great tool

Mike, you said constant freezing and thawing... I mix it up and then preload the syringes and place them in the freezer, and only thaw one syringe before the shot... So in my opinion you only need to freeze and thaw it once in such case it should be okay.... Am I missing something?

Ok. I think thats a fair strategy. I wouldnt thaw and freeze again though. and definetly use the golden rule of staging with testical size when using HCG . If you notice fullness after 24 hours then its working.
