antibiotics and bloodwork
Does anyone know if antibiotics will mess with results? Docs got me on Z Pac and I test tomorrow. I could do it next Monday if need be.

as far as I know antibiotics significantally lower t. I also know with near certainty , that being sick also fuggs up your bw. I'd wait a week if I were you.

I would agree that antibiotics lower T. I had a severe infection in my hand and was put on Cipro for two weeks. Then a week later developed a boil that got infected that had to be treated with Augmentin. Some bad luck. So almost continuous antibiotics for almost a month. Definitely felt less libidinous. Waiting for blood work taken last week to see what's up.

Yes it will lower your test.
I ran into a situation where i also needed to be on them for 4 weeks.Then i was off for 10 days and back on for 2 weeks.My blood work for total and free test dropped down for sure!

This begs the question, is it the antibiotics that lower the blood levels or the illness causing one to be on antibiotics that causes one to have lower values.
IMO it is both.
