    Glut IM injection turned SubQ?

I just attempted a IM Injection in my upper glute with a 1" needle. At 21% bf is there a chance that I'm not reaching down to the mussel?

If I did just inject into my ass fat will I still get the Test or is it too far from any blood vessels to be absorbed?

If it was subq and not IM you will still get the test. Either way it was injected in. I am a subq guy myself and I have injected in the glutes with 1/2 inch needle before and my test level is fine.

I am not sure if it has the same delivery rate though, IM may be faster to enter the system than sub Q. Not sure, may have to wait for a more knowledgeable member.

Thanks for the info. I've read some members have a problem with SubQ when they inject into a fatty area. Hopefully I wont.

Ive actually done subq, since i only take 1cc every 10 days, the only thing is if you dont hit muscle, you get a ball for a few days, but your body will absorb the oil. What i cant vouch for is hormone stability?

When injecting IM with a 1 1/2" needle into my glute, after I insert the needle, I can feel a "second" insertion into the muscle. I push pretty slow so I always wait for that second insertion.

Ouch!! I inject into my quads and use a "stabbing technique" My sister in law is a nurse and says to "stab" to not bruise. Do you brusque with the slow insertion?

^agree. I never stab and go fast. You can feel it when you come up on a nerve or blood vessel.

I second this, plus you feel if youre hitting a vein and you can backup and try a diff angle.

Same here. I draw with a bigger needle then change it. Slow and I haven't bruised yet.

23gx1.5"precision glide thin wall for me too. I feel absolutely no pain taking it slow and can be hyper-vigilant of hitting a nerve.
