If we supplement with DHEA and PREG what's the point of HCG
other then cosmetic reasons, if we are "back filling" the pathways by dhea and pregnenolone supplementation, what's the point in taking HCG .

I feel hcg /dhea/preg compliment each other very nicely but I still don't understand why some people are so anti hcg. I hear this "its just for aesthetics" thing a lot, from somebody who has chosen not to run hcg during a cycle before, trust me it is debilitating when you try to run with your balls atrophied among a couple dozen other things.

Preg is a lot if mental hormones correct?
How bad does it convert to e2? DHEA?
If it converts would you still take DHEA?
Research suggests the Preg is good for the mental clarity, anxiousness, memory etc...Seems like it effects the CNS and brain functions.
What is a standard protocol? 15-30mg daily is what I've read. Interesting for sure. I want this checked at my next BW

Just throwing it out there....no one should be taking dhea or preg unless they have gotten labs and are actually in need of supplementation...these supplements can have negative sides if your levels get too high....not too mention more work for your liver!!!
I speak from experience, i recklessly added both of these because of all the good things said on this forum about dhea and preg without first getting labs...started have some issues and went in for labs and found my levels were above the range and doc thinks this could very well be the source of issues!

The industry's top doc's recommend supplementing with them as they decline with age and are impacted by hormone replacement. And like MArz said, BW should dictate anything you do here. Dosing can be from 25-50mg and for best absorption a sustained release micronized product should be considered. They are best taken in the morning as they can have a mild stimulant effect.
Re-E2, yes, it can be elevated with their use which is why routine BW is so advantageous to good health. Check your DHEA-s. Don't really bother testing preg as it transforms into what it senses your body needs downstream in your cholesterol pathways and is stored mostly in tissue.

get labs...treat what is suboptimal. If DHEA is low then it should be addressed regardless of wheather or not you are on TRT and HCG .
