Any Good HRT docs in California?
Hey guys,
just saw my endo today. Told me he's retiring this month, wrote me a script for test for 5 months and said I need to find a doc before it runs out.
I really want to find a great HRT specialist who knows what their talking about. I'm willing to drive a ways. Anybody know of any specialist in california? Santa monica, south bay area preferably but I ain't picky when it comes to my health. Thanks!!

I was actually one of your first customers in Cali when you first opened up.
Because of my age, 22, the physician you sent me to denied my service seeing no clinical reason for my low testosterone levels .
Also, before he denied me, he only wanted to put me on hcg therapy which I've tried previously with little success.
But it seems like you have many more docs in So Cal in your network now.

I was denied services at LowT.com in part because of my age as well. LowT.com doesn't see patients under the age of 30 without proof that the low T was caused by a medical issue (pituitary tumor, testicular damage).
The medical community views TRT as a way to replace testosterone that naturally decreases with age or due to a medical condition. LowT.com complies with this definition partially to shield their doctors from undue scrutiny and (I think) to prevent themselves from being labeled as a "steroid pushing clinic".
That being said I doubt that anyone at LowT.com actually believes that people under 30 do not need TRT its just harder for them to justify treating them.

Thats exactly right. Our hands are tied. This treatment is only approved for age related (over the age of 30) LOWT or if you have a an underlying pathology diagnosis of why you have LOWT. Just the way it is and we have to protect our docs and their medical licenses. If you are 20-28 years old their are too many ways to improve your T naturally with a high success rate as well.

There are just too many drug seekers out there and this kind of abuse still puts this speciality in the dark ages. Its very easy to just do a cycle of Testosterone then stop for 2 weeks which will drive your T levels and LH/FSH down and say yep Im 22 years old and my labs say that I have low T and Secondary because my FSH/LH is low now give me a perscription for my Low T. Cmon. This is not most doctors first rodeo guys.
Even if you try skippping a shot to drive your levels lower because youve been overdosing weeks prior its very easy by looking at lipids, CBC, CMP and other panels to see if youve been dosing superphysiological for weeks prior.
If you are try to trick the labs you wont win. This isnt like peeing in a cup for a drug test...This is the hair follicle analysis of LowT testing.Last edited by LowT Mike; 11-08-2013 at 05:42 PM.
