    Argh... Stupid doctors...

I started at at a longevity clinic years ago. As typical I started with Test Gel. As most it didnt work for me and I have kids so i don't want cross contamination. I switch to injections years ago, Test E.

Recently my pharmacy has been getting delays/out of stock of Test E and now everyone in my area seems to be out of stock of Test E although they have Test C.

I made a simple request to my doctors office. Re write my prescription for Test C for the time being. I got a voice message left on my cell phone saying they called my pharmacy and have switched my prescription form Test E to Test GEL... WTF???

That's like going from penicillin to sucking on a peppermint plant leaf. Why would the go backwards??? Now I have to call tomorrow and explain to them, NO I dont want the gel. I get a rash, doesn't work for me, cross contamination. Been there, done that.

Probaby just mistake, but I agree sucks having to always explain yourself. Sometimes it's worth the copay just to have the face to face.

I hear ya. My Doctors office has done similar things before. It makes you wonder about the mistakes they make that have sent uneducated patients to the ER.

I agree. A lot of doctors offices use medical assistants (not nurses like you might thing) to call in your RX. And most doctors have bad hand writing.
