Adex
I'm on TRT at 180mg a week and 1/4 pill of Adex twice a week. This keeps my E in the upper 20's.
My question though is that I have read that Adex can greatly lower bone density. Just curious but if you're on TRT are you on Adex for life or in time do most peoples bodies get use to the T and they can stop taking Adex? Just curious if this Adex is something I'll be on for life? It sounds like it's a bad drug to be on for years and years?

It very likely all relative to your estrogen levels. Estrogen plays a key role in bone mineral density, if it is too low this can drop. Keeping it within the clinical range is likely to give you the benefits of estrogen without the adverse effects like you are speaking of. In other words Id bet as long as you dont crush your e2 levels for an extended period it not of concern. Adex, used properly to manage e2 levels should be perfectly fine.

Thanks or the reply. I've only been doing this for like 3-4 months and finally things are level at 700's as my low for my test (before my next shot) and E I believe was upper 20's. The clinic is happy to finally have things in the normal range. I'm still learning about all of this though.
My only other question though is reading about the thicker blood. Is checking for the red blood cells very important? Do it like every 3-4 months okay? It's hard to tell from online but is it very few on TRT who have too high of RBC's or is it most people who need to go give blood? Just curious how often I should have the clinic or my doc check for RBC's being too high?
Thanks for the great forum though. It's been the best source of info about this as I get on treatment. Started at 175 when first diagnosed for major energy issues and sleeping WAY too much.

Bone loss tend to be more significant in post menopausal women. For active men on trt, I wouldn't worry.
