GP cuts me off test/ on the otherside Im with low T thank God
So I go in to see my GP for a six month check up and ask for a Cialis script. He gives me the regular Vicodin script "he gives out freely". Then he says "I cannot give you testosterone anymore, its very dangerous stuff". I went with low T after my doc put me on because he didn't have a clue. THANK GOD!
So basically I'd be S.O.L. I didn't tell him Im with low T but I asked "so, you put me on a life long treatment then tell me it's too dangerous and I'd have to be referred to a Endo and it could be up to a year...? Phew! I'm soooo happy I was referred to this site and found low T before this crap happened.
Oh yeah, he said Cialis was dangerous too and I'd have to see a specialist. Damnit, I gotta start looking for a good doctor.

Man, I feel bad for people this has happened to. For a few minutes I forgot I was with low T cause I was so pissed and dumbfounded by what he was saying. There has to be other people he did this to who are probably lost right now. Sad!

Mind boggling, I don't know how else to describe it! Dangerous?? Yes, indeed, just look at all the bodies piling up from HRT.
IMO, I would tell the guy front and center that you are dealing with the team at LowT. Keep in mind, you're in charge of your health program, and the direction you take with it. Your GP lacks the sufficient knowledge to diagnose and treat hypogonadism, so you simply elected to take the steps to get adequate treatment.

I hear ya V. I'm actually gonna call my insurance provider today and try to find a new physician. I don't even want to talk to that guy again. Kel is correct, he's in his late 60's and most of his knowledge is out dated.
I just need to find someone who's still thirsty for knowledge and not set in some old stone age ways.

Holy smokes!!! So he didn't think it was dangerous before, I don't know what's worse the fact that he put you on a program without knowing anything about it or that he thought it was dangerous and still put you on it. Blessings in disguise my friend.

It is sad the way some of these GP operate. I have a client on TRT through his GP and he refuses to check is Estrodial. Said he doesn't need to unless he has problems. I asked what type of problems and he said if he starts crying a lot. All these guys are doing is generating business for companies like low t, then people will get healthier and not need them as often.
