    Arrow Zinc

Just wondering what you guys take for a Zinc supplement.

I'm currently taking ZMA at night, but thought OptiZinc looks like a good formula since it has some copper too?

Nothing wrong with that. I just use normal, cheap zinc from Walmart. Austin's our supp guru, maybe he'll chime in.

I like the price on the walmart zinc, however straight zinc turns my stomach so I opted for the zma which has zinc in it as well as copper. Some crazy dreams when taking zma before bed! I have had vivid dreams every single night while taking zma. Taking DIM in the morning. Unsure if I'll continue use once my adex arrives tomorrow. I don't want to bring my estrogen down too low

I use Zinc/Copper mix in one pill. 50mg/2mg

OP, copper content in your supplement is 300 mcg. Weak. You need at least 1mg daily, preferably 2.

The dreams are cool. I think the straight zinc affected my stomach. The zma combination of minerals and such seem easier on my stomach.

The GNC zma I'm taking contains 2mg of copper.

Sounds good. Be sure to take anything that contains magnesium at night, not during "active" times of day.

Thanks! I do, I take the zma about an hour before bed and I don't have anything with high calcium two hours before I take the zma.
I do my DIM in the morning with my vitamin d3.

I'm starting an AI, pending my UPS shipment, today. Should I discontinue the zma and DIM while on an AI, possibly driving my E2 down farther than what the AI would do?

If you're using an AI, there is no need for DIM. However, ultimately your goal should be to rid yourself from the AI all together. No need to discontinue ZMA.

Thank you, Austinite! I'll probably discontinue the DIM and keep the ZMA in.

So there's hope that eventually you can omit an AI from protocol? (Obviously each case is different), but for certain people that is even an option?)

Yes. In my case, I lowered my testosterone dose from 150/week to 100 mg. This took me from ~750 ng/dl to ~650, and I still feel great. E2 was hovering slightly over on a sensitive e2 scale, and DIM/Zinc/Copper brought me down a few points. Now I'm very stable and in great range. And no expensive AI's to purchase. This also helped me lower my cholesterol medication as well.

For DIM, I recommend NuMedica brand's DIM-Estro as it contains Curcumin and Bioperine, both with a host of benefits.
