How normal for a MRI?
Stats: 22 yr old male
been usuing steroids , mainly testosterone since 18 on and off, never ran proper pct.
So went over my labs today with the endo. Test was 111 ng/dl
the LH hormones were low too.
anyways long story short i am quite a hypochondriac when it comes to things like these. They have not requested a MRI yet. there going to do more blood work in 4 weeks to see if the LH rises ect.
Anyways is the MRI process normal? i always get scared of brain tumors and silly stuff like that..
thanks

MRI's are quite normal. They're an easy process and have open MRI machines now too if you're claustrophobic.
I have a pituitary tumor which killed my hormonal function so I am on trt now. It was a prolactinoma which was discovered when I was 20. Over the years it changed into a non-functioning tumor and now rather than secreting prolactin, it was just pressing on the gland killing its function.
Don't stress about the MRI. It will tell you exactly what's going on in the old melon. Good luck!

LFH is quite correct. Get it done. Hopefully you have an astute doc who can work toward a restart. I honestly would not think chances are good but we have to hope, right!
I'd appreciate it if you'd go more into detail with your past cycles. Break them down for us a bit if you would. Amounts, length of time on, etc. It will help others here.
Thanks,
kel
