    Hcg

Merry Christmas guys - Hope you all have a good Holiday with loved ones.

I noticed that if I inject my dose of HCG once per week instead of twice I don't realize any difference.

Current protocol is 1,000 U/ML, 500 Units twice per week.

The only reason I have varied is because I have a lag getting this shipped from the pharm.

    Thanks in advance for replies.

    Cheers

Can you be more specific regarding above in bold print? Also, how long have you been injecting hCG?

    Hey 2Sox -

Been on the same TRT protocol for 1 year and ~2 months that includes the HCG protocol I listed.

I realize there is shrinkage and other negative effects from exogenous Testosterone and hence our use of HCG. My observation mentioned above was as simple as I stated - if I inject HCG once a week it doesn't seem to have a negative impact. That said, I am not on a regular pattern of once a week dosage so I am not sure if that's why I haven't noticed a difference.

I had a glimmer of hope that I may be able to reduce HCG dosage to save a few $$'s but I am not counting on it. I figured the pros on the board might have experience and input.

    Thanks for your reply.

Testicular shrinkage is natural with TRT. Is it causing physiological problems?

Short answer - no problems at all at the moment with shrinkage or negative effects from TRT.

My overall TRT protocol is a good standard from what I have researched and that includes the HCG dosages.

As I have read the experiences of others, I have observed that there are deviations or different ways to "dial" oneself in. In reference to my question, I was curious to see if anyone has reduced their HCG dosage without any negative consequences.

I am at 140ml per week Test Cyp with an AI 2 x per week. BW has been coming back right where the doc wants it.

    Appreciate the input, feedback, questions.

Maybe it's me, but I don't understand your questions. Could you clarify?:

Did you mean to state that if you inject once a week it doesn't seem to have a positive impact?

Are you "not" on a pattern of once a week dosing? Or are you now on a pattern of once a week dosing?

Did you notice an improvement with twice a week dosing? What type of hypogonadism have you been diagnosed with?

    Sorry for the confusion

    Original statement:

I noticed that if I inject my dose of HCG once per week instead of twice I don't realize any difference.

Current protocol is 1,000 U/ML, 500 Units twice per week.

Question - If I take half the recc dose (1 injection instead of 2), are there negative side effects and has anyone else reduced their dose of HCG within their own protocol?

Bottom line - I personally can't tell the difference between one injection of HCG per week compared to two. That observation is sporadic though since I don't consistently take one, instead of two, injections per week.

You're not always going to "notice or feel" a difference but know that the subjective benefits of HCG are still there. Personally I'd reduce the dose to 250iu's and simply go M-W-F.

    Thanks for the advice Kel.

I agree that you won't always notice effects and I know better than to take any drastic action regarding the protocol.

    Cheers
