Bloodwork back and PSA climbed again.

Will lowering my test injection amount lower my PSA?
Started TRT a little over a year ago.

A year ago my PSA was 1.5 now at 1.9

Currently Test at 1003 Free test at 24.4 labcor

Currently doing 160 mg a week (80mg Sunday pm and Thursday am)

I wouldnt be too alarmed with that increase as many things can cause an increase in PSA. What was your baseline PSA when you started TRT?
To your question I do not think 20-30 mg's lower per week will impact your PSA. If you fel good I would keep things as they are. Re-test PSA in 3-6 months and you may be surprised as it may be back down to 1.5.

You did not mention your age but age will naturally be incline to raise some. Also consider how the testing is done like same labs, same testing procedures, same personnel testing it, etc etc. Look for range over time. I was kinda freaking out about mine (all still in normal range) but dr assure me I was ok. Site sponsored Cialis helps also. Mine has not raised since supplementing with it. Hands on exam is not great feeling but very much needed to gauge progression. Good luck bro

My Dr cut my TRT several months ago because PSA went from .4 to 1.9. So, OP be careful you don't get cut off too.
    Cialis helps with PSA?

at 1003 total and 24.4 free test suggests high E2. did you check for E2, and are you taking any AI's? my PSA usually goes up when E2 goes up, and it goes down when I lower E2.

Agree with testy above, it's called PSA "velocity" which is indicative of how fast or how much it goes up. My Dr. And my research suggests that an increase of .75 in a one year time frame or less is a red flag. Remember also PSA may be the best gauge currently available but has many flaws or false positives.

Curious of your age and baseline PSA?? Also a DRE is no fun but will put you at ease if this is keeping you up at night.

Before I started TRT, my PSA was .99 but bloodwork was done by another lab. After 9 weeks I did my 2nd bloodwork by labcor and it was 1.5 and every 8 to 9 weeks since and PSA went 1.6, 1.7, 1.5, 1.8, 1.9
    Age is 51
@ Bass, my current estradiol is 35

    Thanks for your input!

from 1.5 to 1.9, the difference is probably not statistically significant. no need to worry. its way within range.
