Wife on HRT: What blood tests should be required?

My wife (post-menopausal) is on HRT and I'd like to know what blood work should be required to keep close watch on her progress. We want to make sure her physician is doing his job.

Presently, she's on a compounded cream with estrogen, progesterone and testosterone . She'll be asking for a cream with just estrogen and progesterone and taking weekly low dose T Cyp shots. (Vettester recommended she start off with 4mg/week.)

    Quote from Slimmerme:
Adding a more thorough thyroid testing to this above test with a full panel instead of just TSH and T4 would be a great idea.
    plus:
    • bone density
    • cortisol if needed for further analysis

    Quote from PPC:
Free T3 gives a more accurate picture of what's been converted to what when it comes to thyroid. It's a biggie.
