    HRT with normal test level?

I've never used gear, but I was on Finasteride for a few years. I developed gyno from it and I suffer from fatigue, weak erections and low libido despite the fact my bloodwork is "normal".

Would TRT be useful for someone in my situation? I feel like I might have issues with estrogen, but nothing jumps out on my bloodwork according to my doctor. I'm seeing a urologist for my 2nd visit soon. It doesn't look like I have any physical plumbing problems, and I'm certain this isn't in my head because the gyno is very real. Is there something I should specifically ask to have checked or some course of treatment I can suggest to my doc?

    Here are my lab results.

    36 year old, 5'11, 210.

    FSH 6.5 ---- 1.6 TO 8 RANGE

    LH 3.2 ---- 1.5 TO 9 RANGE

    PROLACTIN 5.6 ---- 2 TO 18 RANGE

    TESTOSTERONE 990 ---- 250 TO 1100 RANGE

    FREE TESTOSTERONE 145 ---- 35 TO 155 RANGE

    ESTRADIOL 28 ---- < OR = 39 RANGE

    SHBG 41---- 10-50 RANGE

    DHT 31 ---- 25-75 RANGE

Sorry man, I can`t help more. But you don`t want TRT when you have numbers like yours....I would kill for those. Has your doctor giving up finding the root cause?

No TRT won't do much here since your free T and total are on the high side. not sure if e2 is sensitive assay but yes it could be your problem. also shbg is a bit high, you may want to supplement with vitamin D to help lower it, this will also increase your free T. what I don't understand is how you got your T so high with low LH?!

I believe your problem could be caused by your low DHT level.
From my understanding, DHT is more important to men in many ways than testosterone .

Unfortunately, DHT quickens MPB. Finasteride works by lowering the conversion rate of testosterone to DHT.

My guess, and I do mean total guess, is that your high testosterone level is caused by a lingering effect of the Finasteride on your body. Since you are converting less Testosterone to DHT, your test stays high but your DHT stays low.

I am unsure how to raise DHT. (I do think they may have a compounded cream but I do not know.)

I would definitely like to hear some more experienced members comments on this. (esp. KelKel)
