    Sub Q question

Current protocol is 100 mg ew test cyp, hcg before test shot on Saturdays. I broke up the test to twice weekly but the syringes I use are 3 ml syringes and am probably not getting the full dose. Questions are these: my hcg pins are 3/10 ml and the needles aren't interchangeable. How much is 1/4 ml in units on a 3/10 of a ml pin. Gauge on needle is 31g. Needle length is 8mm. Secondly if I do hcg the day prior sub q, does that affect anything? Thanks

    Did a rough calculation. If 3/10 of a ml is 30 units or 30 %, shouldn't a quarter ml be 25 units or 25%?

Units will be the same. On insulin syringe 50mg will be the .25 unit mark. Only difference is your insulin syringe only goes to .3 units, so you will almost fill the entire barrel.

I inject both test and HCG sub-Q. HCG I inject the day before rotating between left and right love handles. Test I inject in the upper/outter most portion of the glutes rotating between left and right glutes.

Do you have to pinch when you do the outer glutes or just simply because of the needle size it's sub Q by default?

For all sub-Q injections, I pinch, push needle in, release pinch, then inject. When not using the pinch method I tend to bruise for some reason.

Thanks. I'm giving it a try this Saturday. Besides the lower amount of test, I've had a problem with aromatising. The AI brought it to 19 which is probably too low. Either way I'm not feeling as good. Might still have to up my test dose.
