Injection Site

Here is an interesting question... I have been doing my injections in my thigh. Some like the arm, others the butt... me it is easier to do in the thigh.
This shot I put way low by accident. About half way down. Is there any rule of thumb other than not get it in a vein?

Muscle thickness or anything like that make a difference?

something like put your hand above your knee and inject above it around the outside of the quad,,

Just get insuline needles from walgreens, sucks are so tiny, the same you use for hcg .
Use them and pin your delts, easy and painless.
