    diuretics while on TRT

Does anyone take diuretics while on TRT to get rid of water weight?
If so, what do you recommend?

Well, I'm on BP medication, which includes a diuretic.

Are you retaining water because your estrogen is high? I had that issue after I first started. Got my estrogen dialed in and I wound up doing a juice cleanse to get rid of junk in my body. Got rid of the bloat at the some time. Never looked back so far.

What is causing you to retain water? Usually, it's something in your diet or, when on TRT, it could be high estrogen. If it's something in your diet (e.g. salt, too many carbs, etc.), just adjust your diet. If it's high estrogen--something I had a brief issue with, which caused me to retain water--get your estrogen in check and then there are ways you can clear out the excess water. I did a 5 day juice fast and that got rid of it and it's never come back. Was also good for me for various other reasons.

I like Neflrick also take bp meds with a diuretic. I retain a bit of water but once I clean up my diet that is under control. Once I drop this weight I come off the meds completely.

I retained water bad at first but it went away, dietary changes etc. I still consume lots of salt etc, but I eliminated foods that were giving me issues, eat them occasionally and the water retention hasn't come back. It was allergies and inflammation issues for me.

I don't consume a lot of salt... in fact I put none on anything but apples and the occasional hash browns (love them but only eat them maybe once a month)

Carbs will make you retain a bit of water. Also, is your estrogen in check? If it's high, you may be retaining water. Mine was high for a bit and I was retaining a LOT of water.

Also, some supplements will make you retain water.

If you don't drink enough water, you can retain water.

Basically, LOTS of things will make you retain water. You just need to track down what it is.
